My husband and I rented a mobile home from Niall for a week in early September, just when the schools had opened and the site was quiet and peaceful. The two bedroom mobile was located near the reception area. it was very clean and functional with a mixture of laminate and vinyl flooring in the living area. There was a small 12 inch screen tv but we decided to bring our own tv with us and that worked out well. The mobile was cosy but as it was September we did need the heat at night time and it was fine. We were delighted to have our own decking and picnic bench outside the unit and a very clean and dry concrete area for car parking.... a bonus! We booked here for one night but stayed 2 nights. Was a great spot. Owner was so friendly and helpful with his tip on what to do and see. Camp-site was so clean with great views. Go here, you'll love it.

Lovely place to stay, Niall, the owner was very hospitable and friendly and selected a great camp site for us. The site is well serviced. I would highly recommend a visit to Greenacres. Thanks for the stay.

Lovely spot right next to the Shannon estuary, nice and quiet, great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Has everything you need toilets, showers, kitchen area, washing machines, tumble dryers which are all very clean. Will definitely be going back! Thank you Niall for making our stay a great one, true gentleman!

Fantastic location, Niall (owner) was lovely facilities were basic but spotless, but the setting more than made up for that, had lovely stay and would stay again.... definitely recommend it, pity we can't control the weather though lol

Got a last minute booking in a 3 bedroom mobile here. View of Shannon estuary and very handy spot to stay in for touring Loop Head and further afield in Co. Clare. The site itself is well maintained and Niall, the owner, is very helpful. The only negative thing I can say is if you want any groceries pick them up in Kilkee before heading here to Doonaha. There are a couple of tiny shops in Carriagaholt and Cross but that’s it.

This is a lovely, very well maintained campsite. We camped here for two nights in a large tent. The facilities are basic but kept clean and functioning. The owner mentioned he has plans to expand facilities as showers are limited at moment, we didn't have any issues with off peak use however. The site is laid out really well and the owner ensures everyone is given plenty pitch space. Dogs are allowed but only on leads. The site has direct beach access - this part of the coast is rocky but great for kids to explore. Just 5mins from the site is a fabulous sandy cove beach which the campsite owner recommended. It's about 10mins from Kilkee town. Kilrush however is better serviced in terms of food shops so worth a stop to stock up on route. Great base to explore loop head peninsula.…

Great position overlooking the sea along Loop Head. Close to Kilkee. Fabulous views. Quiet welcoming site. Clean facilities. A real gem on a beautiful peninsula. Cycling opportunities out of the site on quiet roads.

10 min drive out of Killee town. Very quiet and peaceful site. No messers allowed. Fabulous beach just around the Rocky cove. Very well maintained, spacious between mobile homes. Some with personal gardens

Booked camping here two bank holiday weekends for a group in June and August and was blown away by the friendliness and service of owner Niall. We were a group of students diving in Kilkee those weekends, arriving later than usual guests and leaving earlier in the morning but this was no problem for the pleasant owner. Very warm shower and no waiting outside of peak time (07:30pm I was in and out). Plots for pitching tents were shared with other guests but still a good sense of privacy regardless. Owner Niall last one to leave us in the evening after checking we we're settled and first one you'd see working the next morning. Would highly recommend for a few nights stay.
