Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a lovely 1 night stay in the hotel as part of a spa package. Lovely hotel with very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Our room was comfortable and well located near the bar / restaurant. We enjoyed a beautiful 3 course dinner with a very varied menu to choose from. Breakfast was equally as good. The highlight of our stay was our spa experience which we had so looked forward to and it definitely did not disappoint! We both felt relaxed and refreshed afterwards and enjoyed the treatments we had chosen. Thank you Clodagh. Will return in the future.

Needed to check out some areas around County Clare and this hotel came up as a good base. Took advantage of their 3 night special for a good rate. First of all, the staff are stellar. A few nights I would be eating dinner early and the bartender held multiple roles (server, drink provider, etc.) before the full staff arrived. He did not miss a beat and with multiple tables arriving. I'm sorry I missed his name - his whiskey sour was over the moon! The rooms were comfortable and much appreciated the daily water replacements and those biscuits!!! Yum. The only "heads up" I would mention is that the room I was in required stairs or an elevator that was a tad confusing when you arrive on the 100 level. Walked right into the spa! A quick walk into Killaloe provided a great hair salon (The Greene Room) and easily navigated. People in town and at Killaloe Hotel & Spa were welcoming. Tried to book a spa service on my last day due to a cancellation in my schedule - but not able. They were booked! and I know why. Don't miss this lovely hotel and great location.

I had a lovely stay at the Killaloe Hotel and Spa. The rooms were spotless and the beds and Pillows were very comfortable. So unusual to get both. The breakfast was among the best I've had in any hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous.
