Just back from a Fantastic Sunday Lunch. The service I received from the Manager on Duty Steven was 2nd to none from start to finish in which was clearly a very busy food service day. Will be back to question!!

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Lakeside- staff were welcoming and very helpful- rooms nicely decorated and very comfortable- will come back again. Breakfast could probably improve slightly but overall we had a great stay. The pool is very impressive and our daughter loved it.

I had the misfortune to be marooned in this place due to a funeral Utterly appalling in almost every facet Service so incompetent as to be negligent Sound insulation non existent Avoid at your peril ; a terrible shack lacking even the most rudimentary of facilities

Could do with some improvements. But the staff were friendly and helpful There was a wedding on the Saturday night we were there and the guests were outside the front door and were noisy I see they are building a new block of rooms and would ask to stay there if we return

Hi Cait, There are plenty of things to do in the area from having a cruise on the lake, lots of water based activities such as canoeing, stand up paddling, guided kayaking, etc., local bikepark (mountain bike trails), Chocolate factory tours and lots more in the wider environs. We can help plan all activities by calling and booking for you. They all can be paid for directly which is great for you so you can take them when suits you. Great base for exploring the region.

I'm afraid I don't know about wheelchair friendly bathrooms. We usually stay in Family rooms and while they are spacious, I couldn't be sure they are fully wheelchair friendly. However, I would urge you to phone them - ask for Sinead or Aisling - and they will be very honest with you. I do know that the swimming pool and leisure centre is down a very steep stairs from the main hotel and that you would have to get at it by leaving the hotel and coming in a separate door. The front steps are fully wheelchair friendly and plenty of room for manoevering around foyer, corridors etc. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, regards, eleanor

Does this hotel offer coeliac facilities
Hi, Yes we do! We have a range of Coeliac friendly dishes and most of our other dishes can be easily converted to gluten free with minimum adjustment. Just inform your server when ordering. We will hopefully see you soon.
