It's an ideal location to delve in to county Clare's historical past. The staff and owner could not do enough to make the my visit both comfortable and informative the local knowledge I received was extremely helpful in carry out my business. I would highly recommend this accommodation for both long and short vacations. The B&B was beautifully decorated and added to my relaxation. I was sent on my way with a delicious breakfast. I'll be back.
We met up with family and spent 2 nights in Kincora House; it’s a beautiful old building, which Deborah has renovated and decorated with care and style. We stayed in Room 2 which was spacious and comfortable, and had a lovely view down towards the bridge over the Shannon. Deborah was a very welcoming and friendly host, her enthusiasm for her business and town is lovely. Her house has an individual, quirky character....just like herself! We would recommend a stay here, and would return ourselves.
We had a 3 night stay at this unbelievable diamond of a place. We like our comforts when travelling and staying here we weren’t disappointed. The accommodation has everything you need for a visit long or short. Comfy beds, great shower and the open plan lounge has a cosy fire if needed. I did use the cooking facilities however there are Chinese takeaway, Indian takeaway and even a wee coffee shop all a stone throw away. (Aldi is less than a 10 minute walk). Local pubs couldn’t of been more friendlier. Our stay here wouldn’t of been the same without the owner Deborah. Her hospitality was outstanding and she really made us feel like part of the family Would most definitely return to Kincora House
I've seldomly seen a place as charming as this! We stayed only one night, but we really loved Kincora House. Authentically old, but perfectly refurbished with care and respect for history. Deborah is a lovely host, very attentive and full of information about the area. Thank you again! We really enjoyed our stay - and the evening in the pub just around the corner with the best music we had on our whole trip. Fellow travellers, when you go there, please do not post any fotos of Killaloe on Instagram & Co, in order to keep its beauty!
My husband and I stayed here for one night and enjoyed every minute, from the moment we arrived and were offered tea and cake to when we left having consumed a delicious breakfast. In between Deborah provided excellent advice on where to eat, dog walking, leaflets on places of local interest and of course that essential for very B&B a very warm welcome. Kincora House is in the centre of Killaloe and it is so easy to walk round the town, admire the river etc. The B&B is furnished with lots of interesting local photos, object d'art and of course has very comfortable beds.
My Wife and I returned to Killaloe after living overseas for 13 years and stayed for a week at this lovely B&B. Everything about it was just perfect. The location, the warm welcome, the comfy bed, the spacious bedroom and of course a terrific breakfast every morning. When we return to this area next year, we will certainly book in to the Kincora House again! Thank you Debra for everything. Brian and Lesley.
Some B&Bs score highly because of their ambiance; some B&Bs score highly because of their owners. This B&B has both! Deborah is a delightful host, engaging, informative but not intrusive. The breakfast cuisine was haute! Definitely worth a visit.
We arrived late in the day and started knocking on doors. Mr Debra answered the door and told us Mrs Debra was walking the dog and would be back shortly. When she returned she said “ sorry, no rooms tonight—oh you are on motorbikes, give me 10 minuets”. They let us park the bikes in their secure courtyard, feed us a huge breakfast and gave us a ton of local knowledge. Stay there! Note-this is a B&B, not a hotel.
If you are traveling to Ireland looking for the quintessential 'Irish experience', look no further than Deborah her Kincora House. This lovely little town is like a post card and Deborah's hospitality makes it extra special. We had the coziest room with a lovely view, a delicious breakfast and lots of friendly knowledge on where to eat, what to see and who to meet. Kincora House made our trip to Killaloe Ballina just perfect. We can't wait to come back!
We stayed here for 3 nights recently. Deborah really pushes the boat out. From the time we arrived until we left we were made feel at home at Kincora House. The room we had was so comfortable and the breakfasts were beautiful. We would return in a heart beat. Great place. So convienient to everything. We will be back.
