It's an ideal location to delve in to county Clare's historical past. The staff and owner could not do enough to make the my visit both comfortable and informative the local knowledge I received was extremely helpful in carry out my business. I would highly recommend this accommodation for both long and short vacations. The B&B was beautifully decorated and added to my relaxation. I was sent on my way with a delicious breakfast. I'll be back.

We met up with family and spent 2 nights in Kincora House; it’s a beautiful old building, which Deborah has renovated and decorated with care and style. We stayed in Room 2 which was spacious and comfortable, and had a lovely view down towards the bridge over the Shannon. Deborah was a very welcoming and friendly host, her enthusiasm for her business and town is lovely. Her house has an individual, quirky character....just like herself! We would recommend a stay here, and would return ourselves.

Hi Carmel, It was lovely to have you all stay for the weekend, you were great guests, I love when people appreciate the house and it's contents. I was at the car boot sale again this morning, it has becoming a bit of a pilgrimage with guests, sure it's something to do on a Sunday morning before the farmer's market. Hopefully we will see you again in Killaloe, the cafe across the road opened this weekend, lovely coffee and a shop opening soon with lots of nice things. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Deborah

We had a 3 night stay at this unbelievable diamond of a place. We like our comforts when travelling and staying here we weren’t disappointed. The accommodation has everything you need for a visit long or short. Comfy beds, great shower and the open plan lounge has a cosy fire if needed. I did use the cooking facilities however there are Chinese takeaway, Indian takeaway and even a wee coffee shop all a stone throw away. (Aldi is less than a 10 minute walk). Local pubs couldn’t of been more friendlier. Our stay here wouldn’t of been the same without the owner Deborah. Her hospitality was outstanding and she really made us feel like part of the family Would most definitely return to Kincora House

Hi Rona, thank you for your review of The Drapers, you were the first family to stay there since it's conversion into a townhouse. I'm so happy you enjoyed the house and Dudley your dog liked it which is very important also! Our lovely Chinese and Indian takeaways, one down the street and one up the street made self-catering easy being so reasonable and delicious. I'm looking forward to your return to Killaloe to stay at The Drapers @ Kincora House. Thanks again, Deborah

I've seldomly seen a place as charming as this! We stayed only one night, but we really loved Kincora House. Authentically old, but perfectly refurbished with care and respect for history. Deborah is a lovely host, very attentive and full of information about the area. Thank you again! We really enjoyed our stay - and the evening in the pub just around the corner with the best music we had on our whole trip. Fellow travellers, when you go there, please do not post any fotos of Killaloe on Instagram & Co, in order to keep its beauty!

My husband and I stayed here for one night and enjoyed every minute, from the moment we arrived and were offered tea and cake to when we left having consumed a delicious breakfast. In between Deborah provided excellent advice on where to eat, dog walking, leaflets on places of local interest and of course that essential for very B&B a very warm welcome. Kincora House is in the centre of Killaloe and it is so easy to walk round the town, admire the river etc. The B&B is furnished with lots of interesting local photos, object d'art and of course has very comfortable beds.

Dear Elizabeth and Norman, thank you for your lovely review, it was a pleasure to have yourself, Norman and Saoirse stay, she was a perfectly behaved little doggie, so happy and friendly, as were both of you! It is always a bit daunting to have other B&B owners visit but I am delighted that you were happy with Kincora House and I hope you will get a chance to visit in the future. Thanks again, Deborah

My Wife and I returned to Killaloe after living overseas for 13 years and stayed for a week at this lovely B&B. Everything about it was just perfect. The location, the warm welcome, the comfy bed, the spacious bedroom and of course a terrific breakfast every morning. When we return to this area next year, we will certainly book in to the Kincora House again! Thank you Debra for everything. Brian and Lesley.

Some B&Bs score highly because of their ambiance; some B&Bs score highly because of their owners. This B&B has both! Deborah is a delightful host, engaging, informative but not intrusive. The breakfast cuisine was haute! Definitely worth a visit.

Dear Paul and Joanne, Thank you very much for your kind comments, I really enjoyed having you both stay such lovely conversations and insights. I hope you will visit again, perhaps next time we can organise a trip to the top of the bell tower in the Cathedral to get a birds eye view of Killaloe and Ballina or if you visit on the last Wednesday of the month you can attend one of the Killaloe Ballina Local History Society's public lectures they are always very interesting. Thanks again, Deborah

We arrived late in the day and started knocking on doors. Mr Debra answered the door and told us Mrs Debra was walking the dog and would be back shortly. When she returned she said “ sorry, no rooms tonight—oh you are on motorbikes, give me 10 minuets”. They let us park the bikes in their secure courtyard, feed us a huge breakfast and gave us a ton of local knowledge. Stay there! Note-this is a B&B, not a hotel.

Hi Gail and James, Thank you for your lovely review, Mr Debra as you call him is my father who was visiting and I was going to take the night off from the B&B but I am interested in hosting motorcyclists as I have the secure parking so I was happy to get a room ready for you, I am delighted you enjoyed your stay and I really enjoyed meeting you both, I hope you had a good adventure on the GS's in Scotland and France, it sounded like a wonderful holiday. I might use the photos I took of you both and your bikes when I get around to updating the website with information on the facilities for motorcyclists @ Kincora House. Thanks again, Deborah

If you are traveling to Ireland looking for the quintessential 'Irish experience', look no further than Deborah her Kincora House. This lovely little town is like a post card and Deborah's hospitality makes it extra special. We had the coziest room with a lovely view, a delicious breakfast and lots of friendly knowledge on where to eat, what to see and who to meet. Kincora House made our trip to Killaloe Ballina just perfect. We can't wait to come back!
