We have been privileged to stay at many 5 star hotels around the world in my time, but the K Club brings that standard to a higher level. The hotel is gorgeous and superbly decorated. Every public space could well be included in Architectural Digest – the entry, the lobby, the house bars (each more lovely than the other), the dining areas, the grounds, etc. All are elegant and lovely. The staff is extremely friendly and very good, especially Cesar. The food at their several restaurants is terrific. The golf courses associated with the club are fabulous. I only wish we could have stayed longer. It is a fantastic place and is highly recommended!!
The long, sweeping approach through the golf course sets the scene for the arrival. The front facade is impressive and the excellent service from the staff began immediately! From bell boys, to reception, bar and restaurant staff, to concierge and everyone else, the service was impeccable......professional, courteous and friendly throughout. The reputation of this famous, luxury hotel is deserved! We had booked a suite and again, I was not disappointed. A good size sitting room and separate bedroom overlooked the beautiful course and surrounding countryside. The room was furnished and decorated in period style and well appointed. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable! The public areas, bars and restaurants all exuded quality and style and offered something different, from art deco to French Renaissance style, but all felt comfortable and luxurious. That impeccable staff service continued throughout. We had dinner at the hotel for one of the two nights and as expected, it was fantastic. It's obviously not cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for and this really is a high quality, luxury hotel, where they have got everything spot on. The two nights felt like a real treat and we left feeling refreshed and relaxed after staying in such amazing surroundings. Thank you for a brilliant stay! …
Simply enjoyed our stay at The K Club. It’s beautiful, peaceful and a fun place for a family holiday. Love how the 500 acre hotel is surrounded by the golf courses, water bodies, cycling tracks and absolute greenery. People at The K Club have been fantastic from the reception to concierge to restaurants to housekeeping. Every staff member has helped us experience a fabulous and comfortable holiday. Immense hospitality!!! Special thanks to Tony Murray. He helped us make our holiday even more exciting by arranging the activities like rifle shooting, Segway rides, Falconry and a golf training session. Inspite of a major Golf Tournament at the club…he made sure we don’t miss the training session which my son was most excited about. Really happy and content with our holiday at The K Club. Would love to visit again someday.…
The Palmer club house offers a lovely lunch menu with fabulous views from the veranda. Excellent and friendly service. Will defiantly be back. (However the gate man, on the day we visited, needs a lesson in customer service).
Hands down one of the best places to be in Ireland. Tony was the best!!! Anything we wanted to see/visit, he made it happen. Fantastic gentlemen, and perfect person to make your hospitality experience
Stayed for a long weekend and we enjoyed the overall experience. Staff was friendly and the setting was beautiful. Nice place to go for a walk or do some fly fishing. Restaurent was overpriced, but overall the food (including the breakfast) was nice. Would stay here again.
We got married last month at the K Club and we are still on a high from it. It was the most perfect day I could have ever imagined, even more so as the staff and venue just think of every single little detail for you and make sure you’re looked after like royalty. It truly was a “pinch me” moment walking down that fabulous outdoor aisle to marry the love of my life. A special shout out to Rachael who is the best wedding coordinator in the history of the work. She is superwoman and made sure every little thing went smoothly. Tony was also incredible and went so far as to come to my room with a screwdriver to put together a toy for my son. Another memorable person was Martin who was so lovely and friendly and we had a great chat the day after that picked me up from my hangover!! I’ve never come across service like it in my life and probably won’t again! The K club is hands down the fanciest and loveliest place I’ve ever been to and the staff should be really proud of the service the provide. - Aoibheann…
Unbelievably great. Staff fantastic. Food amazing. Room wonderful. Golf off the scale great. Side story - My son suffers with hay fever and it came on strong the morning of our second round. Wanted vase line to help but didn't have any. That's where Tony in the reception stepped in. Went out in a car and purchased some. True gentleman and so typical of the quality of staff employed St the K Club.
Simply incredible, hand on heart a special experience had by all 16 of us. Hotel and complex was fantastic. We where treated very well by all staff. Played both golf courses which where in fantastic condition. We all ate at the South bar which is very good. Prices where a bit high but fair in my opinion.
Driving onto the property was amazing. It was well maintained and the grounds were gorgeous. Every experience we had during our stay was exceptional. We were greeted at the door, our luggage was taken and stored as we were early, and the lady at the desk did everything she could to get us into a room early. She succeeded.. We stopped for a coffee in the Barton as we waited and our coffees and cookies we were not charged. Our room was magnificent. It had two full baths, a sitting room with plenty of seating and a tv. The bedroom had a comfortable king bed with wonderful linens, a tv and a lovely view. Each bathroom had two sinks and a heated towel bar. Robes, slippers, a safe, and an ironing board and an iron, and a coffee maker were also there. The staff were outstanding.
