Stayed in Barberstown for May bank holiday w/e. Booking was easy and upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly reception team. We were early so we we asked if we coulld have a refreshment before check-in. We were directed to the tea rooms just by reception. The staff here were lovely and we also made our booking for dinner...

I had booked a night at Barberstown Castle as a birthday gift to my husband. We booked a four-poster suite. At the last minute our babysitting fell through and we had to take our 2yr old along too. My husband and I would regularly take weekend hotel breaks (not usually with our little son though) and we were both delighted...

On our recent stay we were allocated a deluxe room in the older part of this hotel & were thrilled by the size and luxury of it.The high corniced ceiling, four poster (large & very comfortable) bed ,period furniture and retro bathroom suite with superb new age plumbing system ensured our stay was better than that of a normal run of...

Spent the weekend here with my wife in May 2015. A nice spot, nice and secluded with excellent food. Service was fairly good and the rooms were very nice, surprisingly large in the newer part of the hotel (which still looks all oldie worldie but with the mod cons). My only gripe was with the absolutely terrible artwork & murals...

This place is amazing. I have just had my wedding here and this was my dream wedding. The venue was fantastic. The staff were amazing and couldn't have done enough for us. The day went perfectly. Gretchen who looked after us did a great job and matt who looked after us on both days was great. I couldn't of asked...

Stayed for two nights and found the hotel a lovely quiet location with friendly staff and comfortable amenities. As a Canadian traveller. Was not quite sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. One of the best locations we stayed with during our trip.

I live in Celbridge and have visited this hotel many times over the last 30 years. On May 2nd, my husband and I had dinner there. Our previous experiences were excellent. My first disappointment was our table. I should have asked for a better one so cannot really complain. The waitress offered to take my husband's coat but, to my...

Not much I need to right about this hotel. Perfect location for us as the next stage of our event was at the K Club just down the road. Comfy sofas and open log fires in the lounge area. Very nice, especially with a pint (or 2) of Guinness to finish off the evening. The bedroom.....oh yes.....4-POSTER-BED and a very...

Yes, it's beautiful a beautiful setting with antique furniture, but in need of redecoration. My biggest gripe was there was no tea/coffee making facility in the room! This would be standard for a 4 star hotel. The Irish coffee, priced at the higher end, was below average / watery. Breakfast was standard. Rooms were priced at 150Euros for a double,...
