Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

121 was our room very spacious and warm. I wish i wrote down everyone's name as they all deserve a shout out. I remember katrina as she made contact with me before I arrived. She was super efficient as we wanted 2 single beds. Another young girl booked us in on the day and she was just as friendly and polite. Bar staff and breakfast staff were all ready to help. Housekeeping were Friendly and quietly getting on with their work. I definitely would recommend dillions

Dillons is a really friendly and homely hotel with nice rooms and excellent facilities. The staff are very helpful and they maintain all aspects of the hotel exceptionally well. Myself and my colleagues had a great time staying there and I'd highly recommend it as a base to stay in if you want to explore the beautiful county of Donegal, or like us you are working in Letterkenny. Great for families too. Many thanks Dillons! I hope to see you again.

Check into this hotel yesterday I found the lady at reception very friendly and attentive her name was Orla I was give a lovely big room in the back of the hotel room no 220 found the bed very comfortable and the bathroom was large and plenty of shelves to store my toiletries. Did not dined in the hotel but had a few drinks in the bar with my friend found the bar gentleman Mr Tourish very friendly and attentive he had a great personality. Meet the manager Mr McElhinney he made sure I was happy with my accommodation. Had breakfast which was excellent and served by a very friendly waitress her name was Eileen and I loved the big bowl of porridge she served me. I will definitely return to this hotel. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Brilliant hotel with lovely rooms and gorgeous food. The thing that sets this hotel apart was the level of customer service. The staff were so nice and friendly but I have to especially mention Katrina and Ronan. Their kindness and willingness to help in anyway was outstanding. I cannot thank them enough. I look forward to staying in this hotel in the future. Well done all.

The hotel is very centrally located in the middle of the main street of Letterkenny, great for a base when traveling around Donegal. There is plenty of parking at the back of the hotel and only for €5 for the night. The rooms are spacious and spotless with a comfortable big bed. The bathrooms have big towels, they also have an iron/ironing board in the room. The staff are very friendly and professional. The breakfast is plentiful with loads on offer. Would recommend and looking forward to going back

Stayed at Dillons with my family recently and the experience was superb from start to finish. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. All staff we encountered were friendly and professional and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced.

Everything about my stay was perfect. I stayed for ten days. My partner had been rushed into hospital. Everyone in the hotel was kind, positive, listened to me in this strange town where I knew no one and I was in a volatile emotional state. There was nothing they wouldn't do. They arranged to have our laundry done by midday so I could take it up to the hospital. The breakfasts were wonderful and hugely varied. So often hotels pride themselves on their fry ups. No, there was beautiful granola and fresh fruit. I ate most of my suppers there and they too were good with a good veggie menu. Very inventive chef. There was even a Brendan Behan Festival while I was there; if I hadn't been at the hospital I definitely would have gone along.
