We just got home after staying overnight at the Silver Tassie in Letterkenny. My wife took off her wedding ring to do her makeup and inadvertently left it on the room’s dressing table . We checked out and attended a wedding nearby ….. it dawned on her during the ceremony that she’d lost her “own” wedding ring . After the ceremony and in a panic but before a divorce erupted, we phoned the Silver Tassie Reception . Thankfully , HouseKeeping had found the ring and turned it into Reception where it was kept until we picked it up this morning …. Phew !!!! A huge thank you to the Housekeeping and Reception staff . Such admirable honesty .

We snatched the two days of rare "Med. weather in Donegal ' in March, and took advantage of the hotel's two nights and one evening meal offer. the hotel complemented the gorgeous Donegal scenery, and we could not fault the hotel, it's friendly staff, generous room and excellent food. Should the Almighty reward us with a couple of days of solid blue skies in autumn, we shall definitely be returning to be pampered.

On the Eve of Christmas Eve we celebrated a very small family occasion in the Silver Tassie. We were blown away with the way we were looked after from the moment we arrived until our departure. We all had beautiful spacious rooms which were spotless. The food on the night was second to none. There was a fabulous choice on the menu. During main course there was extra plates of vegetables & chips left on the tables. The service was quick & efficient. After dinner we took advantage of the magnificent winter wonderland setting in the main entrance of the hotel. We took so many beautiful pictures there we will treasure. The bar was relaxed and homely , and the bar staff on the night just couldn’t do enough. Covid guidelines were respected at all times in this hotel. The silver Tassie has left us with a night we will always remember. Each & every staff member combined makes this hotel a step above the rest

Went here for a one night break away. What comes to mind is a nursing home both with decor and smell absolutely awful. Cannot believe this is a four star hotel, looking at other reviews maybe we were staying in a different hotel! 4 stars this is definitely not, maybe depends on your standards and expectations of a 4 star.

My son James and his wife Tash had their Wedding reception in the Silver Tassie. This is a top class Hotel for hospitality. The food, the service, the Mgt and staff were amazing. A large party of us stayed over two nights in beautiful clean, airy bedrooms. Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories.

Just visited for an overnight stay, I could not fault the Hotel or Spa in any way. We had a seaweed bath experience in the Spa ... wow, everything was perfect right down to our relaxing peppermint tea. The staff were so welcoming & helpful & the place was spotless. Our room was 210, all the room had special names, such a homely touch, our room was clean & spacious & a perfect temperature (sorry the pics don't do the room justice as I forgot & took the pics just as we were leaving) We ate in the restaurant for both dinner & breakfast the food was scrumptious, especially those onion rings 🙂 we enjoyed good sized portions & it all was so very tasty. All the hotel stuff went far beyond the call of duty & a special mention goes to Heather in the Restaurant. 🙂Can't wait until our next visit 🙂❤
