We spent our first night of our trip here after visiting Glenveagh National Park. It's quite remote so you need to drive for eating, drinks etc. The room was lovely, the ensuite too small but this is usual for b&b accommodation in Ireland. Maeve was very attentive, breakfast was great. Nice for a one night stay.
Myself and my boyfriend were here in July 2020, just after lockdown lifted. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, great shower. The host was so nice and we got a stellar breakfast both mornings. The location was perfect also, near the national park, the vibrant town of Letterkenny and nearby attractions. We were here as part of a road trip and to go Kayaking in Portsolon ( with Eco Atlantic Kayaking). You get your own door key and can come and go as you please. The perfect mix of privacy and hospitality. Special mention for Max, a very good boi.
Meave and John were just fantastic and very helpful. They gave me a lot of good tips and ideas about what to do in the area. My room was spacious and comfortable, very quiet as well. The breakfast was delicious and had more than what I could eat. I had a very pleasant stay at their B&B! If I could, I would give higher rating than "Excellent" only. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is willing to feel at home while you're on a trip.
We stayed four nights in this lovely B and B outside of Letterkenny. It is located in a rural area and the setting is lovely. Our room overlooked a sheep field, hills, and a small river. Perfect! Our hosts were wonderful, so kind, the breakfasts were perfect, the room was sparkling clean With nice sheets, towels and pillows, and there was a wonderful restaurant very close that was open until 9 after a long day of touring. I only wish we had stayed an extra day, there is so much to see and do there. Highly recommend!
We stayed for one night as we explored northern Ireland. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Meave and John gave us a warm welcome when we arrived late in the evening. The room was prestine as was the entire home. It is situated on top of a hill outside letterkenny for those who are looking for a tranquil stay this house is ideal. Our breakfast the following morning was amazing, we were treated to a fruit compote for starters and had a full irish breakfast for after. We needed another night to stay just to rest after the feed. We will certainly be back. It was amazing value and experience. Thank you meave and john
