Burndale house was in the right location for what we needed. The rooms where big and very clean. There was a bit of road noise but not a big deal really. Breakfast was great. The gardens where lovely and welcoming.
We found this Guest House very clean and comfortable.Upon arrival we were met by a lovely young lady who explained everything very clearly to us.The room was warm, cosy and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Our breakfast was served with a smile and the food was delicious. My only fault would be that there was no communal living room to sit in.
Location is good as it is less than a five minute drive in to Letterkenny and about a 20 minute walk (but I wouldn't suggest this lol) It was my sister-in-laws birthday so we went out in the town but I would not recommend this b&b if you want a lie in/ have been out the night before. When we were welcomed, the girl was very friendly I had requested to have my check out around 11am-12 noon but the b&b couldn't confirm this until the we're there. We had to check out by 10am!!!! Breakfast was served from 8-9am!! In my opinion - way too early for a Sunday.
Lovely, clean, peaceful and homely .staff very pleasant and welcoming.great location and so peaceful and dquiet.would strongly recommend this b&b.breakfast was delisious.worst part of the stay was leaving.
Very clean and surprisingly quiet for being so close to a busy road. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with excellent eggs. Very convenient for visiting letterkenny of an evening. Nearby wildlife includes sheep and puzzled dogs
Friendly hostess, excellent breakfast, room a bit tight, but the bed is large and comfortable, great restaurant just a mile away, great place if you are looking for out-of-town B&B. Located adjacent to a busy road, in the middle of commercial area, somewhat hidden but quiet residential street. Some people would find the location a bit odd, for us it was OK.
Marie who runs this establishment was very kind and accommodating during our stay. The room we had was clean yet had a very small shower and didn't drain properly so we had to turn off the water every 5 minutes for the excess to drain as to not overflow. Marie offers a full Irish breakfast or continental and our stay there was quiet and relaxing. Within walking distance from the house is McGettigan's bar and highly recommended for lunch and/or dinner.
Smashing B&B just outside Letterkenny. Bedroom and ensuite spotless as was the rest of the house. Owner very pleasant. Cooked breakfast really tasty and plenty of it, washed down with a giant pot of tea and brown bread and toast. a triple room with breakfast included - 90euros. What a bargainn
Booked for one night and glad we did. Our room was clean and comfortable. Bath was spacious and water was hot. Breakfast room was comfortable and our breakfast was very good and we enjoyed talking with Marie. This is one B&B that we would return to.
The room was clean but crowded and we had to access the spacious bathroom by going out into the hallway which is a bit uncomfortable in the middle of the night for two middle-aged single women when the other guests are unknown. Not sure if we could have followed the escape directions had there been a need. The hostess recommended a wonderful pub within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious and filling. It was here we had boxty for the first time. YUM!
