Lovely venue but not impressed with the security. They were extremely rude and what I perceived as completely ageist. They asked many irrelevant questions and assumed I was drunk when I don't drink at all. They were very patronising and have put me off ever going back!

Stayed here for a week while visiting my daughter who was studying in Maynooth Ireland. In our group we had both a suite and a standard room. I would recommend the Suite as it does come with a refrigerator and a balcony while the standard room doesn't. Both rooms were well-appointed and very clean. We had a few problems with...

The Courtyard Hotel is a hidden gem.We were upgraded for free to a room that overlooked the Liffey. It also had a balcony though the weather meant we could not sit out.The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was amazing!I will recommend it to others.

From Main Street it doesn't look anything special but go round the back to the reception and it is very stunning as you walk through the court yard into the hotel. Staff extremely helpful and we had been upgraded to a suite with a balcony overlooking the river. We will definitely be returning in the near future but only for...

Booked a one night stay after arrival in Dublin heading West the following day. First impressions were excellent with the receptionist very helpful, polite and welcoming. Big, open and quiet room given - good value for price. We headed to Arthur's Bar for drinks and a meal. Bar staff were friendly and we ordered food. Sadly, took ages to come...

The excitement of going “on holidays” had been building all week for our two daughters aged seven and nine, and it peaked at 4pm on Friday evening as we left Galway city, with the car boot packed we were ready to go, no need to think about passports or tickets. The journey east along the motorway passed quickly and by...
