A warm 'Covid' welcome greeted us and once orientated, Pauline was concerned re. getting us booked for an evening meal locally due to Covid restrictions. She phoned a few places, but they were all booked up, but thanks for the effort. The bedroom and ensuite were well presented, including tea facilities, toiletries and bottles of water. In the morning we met Gerry as he explained the breakfast logistics. A GREAT selection was on offer and after staying five nights we never tired of the menu nor the table service from Gerry. A husband and wife team that work very well together (they had a full house most of the week and were busy) and should be proud of what they have to offer the paying guest. Thanks for adding to our stay. We have no hesitation in recommending Ballyvaughan Lodge and will certainly check for availability if next in the area. Cheers.

My husband and I visited Europe to celebrate our first anniversary, and the Ballyvaughan Lodge was our favorite stay of our entire trip! Gerry was an amazing host - super friendly and helpful with dining and pub tips. The room was super clean and the entire B&B is so charming. Breakfast was included and delicious (loved the wild mushroom toast!!) Ballyvaughan itself was our favorite part of our trip - the people were super friendly and we had a blast at the local pub. Can't recommend the Ballyvaughan lodge enough!!! Hopefully we will be back some day :)

The room was too class, great attention to detail. The breakfast was amazing, a great selection of fruit. The location is brilliant, some of the best parts of the Burren are within easy reach. I would stringly recommend Ballyvaughan Lodge.

First thing l have to say is amazing hospitality from Gerry and Pauline (and Coco)😉, it's like home from home they welcome you into their home and you feel at home straight away. Room is clean with everything you could possibly want, cleaned every day with clean towels and tea, coffee etc. But the breakfast is absolutely amazing, every fruit you could possibly imagine, yoghurt, fruit bread, cheeses, fresh orange juice. Then you have a brilliant choice of cooked breakfast - full irish, veggie breakfast, omelettes, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, poached eggs, boiled eggs with soldiers and porridge. You need to stay at least a week to try all options, or Pauline will swap things around if you ask. Gerry is very knowledgeable about the area, we had a full itinerary even down to where to have the best cake and coffee. Ballyvaughan is a lovely little village with a spar shop, a few present shops, eat at L'arco italian and The Wild Atlantic Lodge both great food, drinks in O'Lochainn's whisky bar for over 45 different whisky and every other drink imaginable for great atmosphere and the craic 😉

Pauline and Gerry are great hosts. Bedrooms are spotless and well equipped. Wonderful breakfast prepared to order by Pauline. Lovely selection of cereals, both fresh fruit and preserves. Great location for a visit to the Burren and Ballyvaughan. Will look forward to a return visit.
