As a large, spacious B&B Hotel in the Burren Hills, we offer great rooms and a very extensive breakfast, coupled with peace, quiet and a warm family welcome in a rural environment. We are situated right in the middle of the Burren region, which is a mountainous terrain in North Clare, famous for its flowers, rocks and scenery. The Hotel accommodation at Cappabhaile House is unique, with fantastic views of the Burren Hills. We have built on our own 12-acre site, where you can mingle amongst the cattle and take a stroll at your leisure.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely, warm, inviting place of rest, relaxation, yummy food and wonderful conversation with the inn keepers. The rooms were spacious and had a unique charm. Food was plentiful and delicious. Staff was friendly and treated you like family.

Tucked back off the main road this bed and breakfast is adorable and inviting when you pull up to it. The room was beautiful and filled with fine furnishings that were very well maintained. The breakfast was by far the best we had on any of our 9 days in ireland. The porridge, brown bread and omlette were all delicious!

We booked the deluxe double room, and it was gorgeous! The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was about a 30 minute drive from the cliffs. Breakfast was fantastic with an assortment of breads, egg dishes, and coffee and tea. They even have billiards for you to partake in during your stay. Would highly recommend!

This cute B&B is located a few minutes from the charming town of Ballyvaughan. It's in the countryside so very peaceful and relaxed. Rooms were large and well-appointed. We particularly appreciated the help from the owner, who gave us tips about local sights to check out. In fact, he recommended two places we had not considered visiting that were well worth seeing: Corcomroe Abbey, a gorgeous 13th-century ruined monastery we were able to tour with no other visitors, and the mystical Poulnabrone Dolmen, which dates back to 4200 BC. The owner also suggested we go to the nearby Fountain Bar in Ballyvaughan for some lively trad sessions, which was wonderful. No problem bringing our teenagers in. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the wonderful bread and butter - how is it just so delicious in Ireland?

Seriously the best bed & breakfast I’ve ever visited. Amazing grounds rightly situated between the cliffs of moher and Galway. The service was so kind and full of entertaining stories during breakfast. The food was fantastic. All around a lovely place. I hesitated to write a review just so it doesn’t become untouchable to reserve.

Really wonderful B&B run by lovely people who genuinely care that their guests have a nice stay. They were very accommodating during our stay (hypoallergenic bedding, tweaks to the breakfast). The B&B has a beautiful Burren view, delicious breakfast, a spacious room with a comfy bed and such a warm, welcoming vibe. I would love to stay here again! Thanks for such a nice stay Connor & co.

This is our favorite B&B during our 1 week vacation in Ireland. We stayed at room 8 which is facing the fantastic view of the mountains and we got a chance to observe the herd of cows up close. We were so comfortable in the room we stayed in one of the days to just enjoy the view in the comfort of the clean and spacious room. Margaret and Conner made us feel really welcome. They gave us the best tips on where to go for fresh lobster and the best view of Cliffs of Moher (30 min drive away). They lent me a book to read about the Burren to understand the place better (flora and culture). The morning breakfast choices are excellent at a lovely breakfast room. There is only one floor so no need to climb stairs. The beds are wide and we had 2 super single beds. There is a large sitting area with a kettle, mugs and cups. There is chocolate wafers. We have enough space in the room to really enjoy our stay. Ample space for our luggage. Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. Large bathroom with bathtub, there is no separate shower. Certainly highly recommend this lovely home away from home at the Burren. Do book directly with them.
