WE stayed here for 3 nights. It is just before Ballyvaugh. You have views of the water or the Burren. We stayed in a quiet cottage next door to the main house. The room was quite large with a beautiful lavender decorating plan. The shower was a walk in. The house next door has a lounge with a honesty bar with drinks, and free snacks. The breakfast had many choices incluindg crepes, , pancakes, scrambled eggs, and the traditional Irish breakfast. The owner was very careful with wearing a mask and leaving windows open. She was very happy to answer any questions about the area. There was a guest staying with a dog, so it is pet friendly. Great location , 30 mjnutes from Cliffs of Moher, 10 minutes from Sheep Farm , and 5 minutes from Monks Restaurant in Ballyvaughn. A great first place to stay after landing in Shannon.

What a wonderful stay at Drumcreehy Country House! It was one of the best sleeps of the whole trip. The house is decorated wonderfully and even had an honesty bar, for those interested. The breakfast the next morning was delicious (especially the bacon). I wish I was a little more hungry because there was so much to enjoy to start the day. I highly recommend it and will be back next time we are in Ireland.

We stayed here for 3 night while exploring the Burren. The house is beautiful throughout, the care and attention to detail is fantastic. But the best part is the breakfast, such a variety of fruit, breads, cheeses and then cooked breakfast was really tasty. Would highly recommend it. 😊

Very nice house and grounds. Also great that they accommodate pets. The description of Beach Frontage is misleading as there is a fast road between it and the accommodation. I had imagined the Garden to go right down to the beach, from what I had read. Although the place is beautiful I would not stay there again. I felt uncomfortable when talking with the host and felt that her tone was undermining. It may have been just the way she spoke, although her tone became much happier and friendlier when she called me in my room to ask if we could change our time for breakfast. Breakfast itself was faultless. Great selection of cereals, fruits, yogurts etc. The cooked breakfast was top class, very nicely presented too. The room we had was quite nice, clean and well presented. Although the Television signal was quite poor. If that type of thing is important to you. Overall a lovely place and nice food, however as I mentioned it was let down by the host. I wish them both every success.
