made for a comfortable stay. Quiet, clean rooms and cozy salon for a relaxing time. It was very convenient having a laundry line in the garden for guest usage. Pleasant easy walk into town. Tasty breakfast.
Really satisfied. The owners are very kind. Breakfast is good. The b&b is near The center and from here you have nice walks. There is s nice walk yo Fanore along part of the Burren Way You can move also with bus eireann 350 to the cliffs. I suggest to come here.
Our booking was at Gentian B & B (see review) but when we turned up, the owner tersely told us we would be staying here at Meadowfield. Breda, the owner of Meadowfield was absolutely delightful and our room had a really scenic view. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was great.
Breada was a fantastic host who went out of her way for us. On arrival (hiking the Burren Way with tiny bags) she insisted on doing our laundry for us on the basis that we could have had many changes of socks!! (She was right!) This summed up exactly what was nice about staying at Meadowfield. Even though we were starting early the next day, Breada was still up in time to make us some eggs to see us on our way! The room was also nice, big comfy bed, nice en-suite.
Very comfortable, great breakfast. Close to excellent restaurant, Wild Atlantic Lodge. Charming town too and harbor for pictures. Met lovely recurring guest who helped with my drawing. Will stay again if back in the area. Fairly close to Cliffs of Moher
We had such a good time at B&B Meadowfield. Breda is a dedicated and friendly hostess and was very eager to fullfil all our wishes. We felt very comfortable and can warmly recommend this accommodation.
We had the warmest of welcomes from our hosts, Breada and Michael, who gave excellent local advice regarding day trips and restaurants. Very comfortable and clean accommodation and a great breakfast with lots of choice. Definitely recommend.
Had an amazing time. The hospitality was wonderful and the rooms were comfortable. We had the chance to hear some local music at one of the pubs in the village. Highly recommend this wonderful place. Just a beautiful area and friendly atmosphere.
We had a room with a nice view at the back of the house. Breada was very friendly and hospitable and she had a huge amount of knowledge which she shared with us on wild flowers, geology, engineering sights worth seeing. For example, we found a little and slightly precarious path once we got down to the fast-flowing river to view the “Spectacle Bridge” at Lisdoonvarna, thanks to her tip-off. Also, as she advised, when we walked the cliff-path to see the Cliffs of Mohan, we drove past the Visitor Centre and parked in a small farm car park at the southern end of the cliffs and walked in the other direction.
The hosts were excellent and made the stay so good. They made recommendations about where to go and what to see and had lots of useful guide books and literature. Breakfast was simple and ample: tea/coffee/orange juice, cereals, yoghurts, fruit salad, a variety of cooked breakfast options. Plenty for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the lounge. The location of the property is really good as it is only a two to three minute walk into the heart of the village.
