Great hotel, with really great staff, and very good food. The room was a very good size with a really comfortable bed. The free parking was a very welcome bonus. The location is perfect for exploring Clare and its surrounding counties. We will definitely be back.

Had a triple room for 2 people. Very basic. It was quiet looking over the back, comfy bed and a great shower. It was very hot while we were there no water in the room as advertised. We did ask and were told it was not provided. Breakfast was just ok. (No smoked salmon as I read somewhere). There is a tight carpark at the back of the hotel. There is also a small bar and a restaurant.

A little Gem Had the pleasure in staying with Paul and his team for a night. The hotel is beautifully decorated to a high standard. The staff were just so so nice, the place spotless. We had dinner that night there outside looking at the world go by and it was really good, fab fresh ingredients and very well presented. My partner had bfast the next morn( I stayed in the super comfy bed) and he rekons it was one of the nicest he has had. Will be back for sure

So disappointed with our visit to the restaurant. First impressions great. Spacious and lovely decor. However food really unimpressive. Daily specials menu includes chicken gougons and lasagne!! Prawn starter was tasteless. Main course was served with a large platter of over steamed vegetables....such a turn off! Steak dry and overcooked. Desserts poor. Won't return
