We stayed here prior to a planned ferry trip to the Aran Islands. It's a very small town but the hotel was nice and the restaurant was good. The restaurant was very modern looking and the pubs were great. The rooms are small - what you would expect and a bit tight for a family for more than one night.

We were there on a wedding trip and it had literally just been refurbished so a few teething problems with the rooms, but on the whole it was a nice place to stay and the staff were extremely friendly. Good breakfasts and the bar had lots of atmosphere. Think they need to put heated towel rails in the bathrooms but...

I've just had an excellent meal in the Wild Atlantic Lodge in Ballyvaughan. Very warm & welcoming staff that were cheerful, helpful and very efficient. If you're stopping off around The Burren for a bite to eat then this place is spot on

Having never heard of Ballyvaughan before I had no idea what to expect. Delighted to have discovered this quaint town and great lodge! Newly refurbished there was a tinge of newness in the air. However, the staff and service were reeking of experience. Staff are lovely and professional here! Room was lovely, spacious and had everything we needed. Fabulous food,...

Recently taken over by new local owner, the hotel and bar have been seriously re-furbished. The room we had was spacious, warm, clean towels daily and had everything you need for a few days stay. The food in the hotel from the generous well stocked breakfast choice to the evening meals was delicious. Great steaks and a delicious seafood chowder...

I have stayed here twice. Both times, loved it. Cozy accommodations, friendly staff, wonderful food. The Irish breakfast is one of the finest in the country. Great pub, but a short walk to some really great places( O'Loughlin's Whiskey Bar is a MUST). I can't wait for my next stay!

Stayed here as part of a hen party weekend. Centrally located in Ballyvaughan village within 5 second walk from the village pubs and restaurants. Rooms were very cosy but nice. Would recommend this for Hens and Stags looking for a typical Irish weekend away! Breakfast is really good!
