Located just outside of Galway, it's ideally located to visit some of the prime tourist areas just to the south and north...and the small village of Oranmore has a good selection of restaurants so no need to battle the traffic for a visit to Galway...More

Sorry about the delay. About 10 minutes from Galway central. Don't worry about the distance out as its worth it.

Oranhill Lodge is not in a crowded neighbor, so there is parking on the property and on the street. It is residential, but right off the main road for convenience. Good wifi, as I recall (and great breakfast).

There are taxis and also bus service from Galway to Oranmore where the lodge is located. In Galway, taxis can be found on the street near Eyre Square, the side of the square where O'Connell's Pub (painted green) is... More
