The bus station ( Bus Eireann) is very near Eyre Square as well. I was there in July, 2016. We took an Oran cab a couple of times from Oranhill Lodge to Galway (14 Euro) and also another company's cab from Galway to Oranhill Lodge. It was about 20 Euro, if I remember correctly. We also took the bus which stops two blocks down from the lodge. That was about 4 Euro and you pay as you get on the bus.
