The place is beautiful--spacious, clean, full of light. Then there is the breakfast! The scones and brown bread are to die for. The French press coffee and cream wonderful! The price a bargain. A walk into the town center of Oranmore for supper and /or a pint was lovely and easy--and the bus stop into Galway City was equally convenient. Most of all, Michael and Ann are so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way in so many large and small ways to help my extended family when we visited in June 2022. I cannot recommend Oranhill Lodge highly enough!

Our stay was everything that was promised in the previous reviews. The house was lovely; our room was clean, with a great view of the yard and every amenity you could wish for. The hosting couple was sweet, and the breakfast was delicious. A fantastic value for the price! I wish we could have stayed longer.

We spent 2 nights at Oranhill Lodge. The inn is well appointed, with very clean and spacious rooms. The breakfasts were delicious, especially the homemade scones! The proprietors, Ann and Michael were wonderful hosts. They made us feel very welcomed and at home. Michael’s suggestions for sightseeing were right on. Only about 10 minutes from Galway, I would highly suggest staying at Oranhill Lodge.

We spent 2 nights at the Oranhill Lodge. It was a beautiful guesthouse, spacious and very clean. The breakfasts were delicious, especially the homemade scones. Ann and Michael are fantastic hosts. They are helpful in recommending restaurants in town and especially for helping with sightseeing in the larger area. We took their advice and it was spot on. We highly recommend Oranhill Lodge.

Michael and Ann are very helpful and knowledgeable hosts. The house was extremely clean, the breakfast very good and the location ideal for a short stay near Galway. Thanks to Michael and Ann for their willingness to help with a foot injury. In addition, a forgotten utensil was found and this has been sent to our home address! Super Service!!

Oranhill Lodge was our favorite B&B of all we stayed with on our Irish road-trip. We were in town for a wedding outside of Galway and Oranhill Lodge was so conveniently located to the city, but also to adventuring farther out of town. The B&B was GORGEOUS and incredibly clean. There was a great public space with cozy and chic chairs to knit in at night, our rooms were very well appointed with comfy beds, and the grounds were a little tranquil oasis. The breakfast options were delightful and well executed. The owners were very friendly and made the whole experience very homey. I would definitely recommend Oranhill Lodge to everyone.

Was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of proprietors Anne and Michael and their friendly welcome. My room and facilities were fabulous with comfortable bed, tea/coffee/biscuits and modern shower with instant hot water. A full breakfast was prepared to my specific order and was perfect! I certainly would recommend this establishment to anyone travelling to a delightful part of the country. Well done!

Anne & Michael were the most magnificent hosts. Warm and welcoming upon arrival, helpful when needed, and provided the most enjoyable breakfasts! The rooms are super clean, comfortable, and have everything you may need. Plenty of space to unpack if you wanted. A vanity desk as well! I loved that they had fresh water in a bottle with glasses in your room as well as a kettle with teas and coffee if you wanted! I loved everything about this place and the hosts. I will definitely stay there again when in the Galway area again. I highly recommend this lodge/bed and breakfast.

We used Oranhill Lodge as a base while visiting Galway and attending a wedding nearby. It was the perfect location to do so! Just a short drive into Galway, this stay was super quiet and comfortable. We loved all the extras in the room (like having makeup wipes was wonderful) and the breakfast was delicious. Additionally, every breakfast item had a gluten free option with no extra fee (it is almost always extra in the US)! We looked forward to eating overlooking the garden each morning. Ann and Michael were incredibly kind and helpful both in recommending places to check out as well as oohing and aahing over wedding guest attire (much appreciated!)! Parking was easy (right in front) and when we needed a ride across town due to our party splitting up for the day, they graciously offered to drive us over! We would one hundred percent visit again.

Our group of 4 absolutely loved our 2-night stay at the Oranhill Lodge. It is quiet and yet very conveniently located near the town of Oranmore. Michael and Ann are the owners and Michael gave us nice tips on where to eat, which we could walk to...always a good thing when you want to enjoy a pint or two of Guiness! The breakfast was also wonderful (so many choices!)...and such a beautiful setting in their back sunroom. Michael and Ann even accommodated us with an early breakfast our last night there as we had to get going early to Dublin. We WILL be staying here again whenever we get back to Ireland!
