A nice, clean and warm B&B. The innkeeper was very kind, funny, and informative. He served an Irish breakfast each morning. The location was also great. It was a quick walk into town so you don't have to worry about driving!

What a wonderful stay! The breakfast is wonderful. We only learned how wonderful it was after traveling some more across Ireland and never finding a breakfast quite like Shanlin House. The accommodations are extremely comfortable and the location is perfect. Everything is immaculately clean and Seamus makes you feel very welcome. Will definitely return!

Most friendly owner and cosy rooms made us feel very welcome, breakfast is fantastic! Oranmore is close to Galway (beautiful town, food, university and nightlife) and to the stunning coastline ("wild atlantic way").

Stayed in this B&B after visiting Galway and found it to be charming and clean. We were a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and our room was comfortable with a tv to help keep our kids busy. Seamus is a warm host and very accommodating. Hot breakfast is included in the already very reasonable price and it was...

Cute B&B on the outskirts of town. Friendly greeting, well decorated, and wonderful Irish breakfast served in the morning. 5 minute drive from nearby gas station, shops, and pub (that serves delicious seafood chowder!). 15-20 minutes from city centre. Will definitely keep in mind for any future visit and recommend to friends/family.

Good clean guesthouse. Accomodations require a climb upstairs and even a step down at the end. Good breakfast and friendly service. Did not accept credit/debit cards which is unfortunate. Close to town but might be a bit of a walk for some. Easy to find but entering back to the road a challenge.

Nothing flashy about this b.b but location is good and although the houses itself is not 5 star rating it makes up for it with the warmth and friendliness of Seamus the owner. We spent 2 nights there and having travelled many miles were very tired.tired. Couldn't believe how helpful Seamus was with flexibility for breakfast...even cooked it for us...

I recently had to travel to Galway for work and found myself unable to find a hotel. Luckily the company were able to find this beautiful B&B just 10 mins from where I was working. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel welcome. My room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable I...

“When the Irish tell you "it is five minutes walk" it is about as reliable as "just up the road", you need to ask how long is the road so when this place tells you town is a five minute walk expect twice to three times that long.”
