Loved this hotel. The old house is nicely decorated and the open fires are lit and rooms cosy.
The beach is only meters away.
It’s a really relaxing spot and the staff were so helpful and friendly.
It’s a beautiful part of Donegal too so definitely worth a trip.

A comfortable hotel with an above average restaurant. What we liked the best were the many places you could sit comfortably before or after dinner, always in front of a fireplace. Very friendly service. We had a delightful stay.

Just a lovely place to stay... relaxing...beautiful scenery and lovely food.

If I had one small comment it would be the spotlighting in the dining room... just a little 'glarey' / at wrong angles.

Such a great place to go and chill out, with the beach a stone throw away.

Rooms were very nice with plenty of space. The staff could not have been more helpful.

We ate in both restaurants, the taproom down stairs and the main restaurant. The taprooms pizzas are fantastic (Sp

When you say dog friendly can you please elaborate? I have to ask as myself and partner have 4 siberian huskys and have never been able to get away with them. Been looking somewhere to stay for sometime now. All well trained house dogs.
You will need to phone the hotel. They have 1 room I think they have for owners and their dogs. not sure how many dogs they will allow

Do you have a spa?
Many thanks for your question. The hotel does not have a spa. We have a swimming pool for guests but no spa facility. We recommend our guests visit the Looking Glass in Rathmullan which is an excellent award winning spa and you will be well looked after by Aoife. Many thanks Patrick Rathmullan House

Yes, you will need to book a dog friendly room. We chatted with dog owners who were very happy with this arrangement.

Hi We are planning to stay here on Good Friday. Can you tell me will all the hotel facilities be open? Bar, restaurants etc? Thanks
Hi, Sorry, I have no connection with the hotel, so I suggest you call them for a definitive answer. I would be very surprised if any of the facilities were closed as Easter must be a prime time for them!
