My partner and I stubbled upon this hotel with a friend of ours! We booked it last minute online, when we arrived the drive way was Beautiful with fairy lights and little wooden hearts hanging from the trees, the receptionist was lovely and very helpful, the hotel room was gorgeous, we managed to get one of the honeymoon suites! And...

What a beautiful setting! Located by a river, I'm sure the gardens look spectacular during the summer. The staff were very friendly, constantly checking that myself and my friend had all we needed. The evening meal was tasty and while breakfast took a while to arrive, it guaranteed that it was cooked to order and fresh. The rooms could do...

The Innishannon house hotel is in a gorgeous location and the interior is lovely. I have only attended events here and it is always the same boring carvery with rubbery beef and overcooked vegetables. The fish is a better option but the portions are quite small so don't go hungry, go for the ambience.

We recently booked the Innishannon House Hotel for a relatively large family celebration including 3 generations of two families. We selected this hotel for its old world charm, beautiful location and friendliness of the staff. Before the event the hotel emailed us a draft broad ranging menu including 4 options for starters, main course and desserts and a seperate menu...

Myself and my now wife just had a wedding in this beautiful venue last Saturday (15th of October). From beginning to end including all of the preparation and last minute changes, the staff and management team were absolutely flawless in their handling of the occasion. We dealt primarily with Shane, Margret and Mags and I must say as people and...

Beautiful setting for a wedding, amazing food, good company, what else can I say! Lovely quirky rooms. Only negative is price of rooms which were very expensive. Also if you have with problems walking or climbing don't book into rooms separate from hotel as getting there is difficult and up a steep incline. Coming down is dangerous you have to...

Alice Taylor's books takes one back in time and it just so happens that just down the road from Innishannon village where Alice get her inspiration, I'm sure, is the beautiful unspoilt Innishannon House Hotel on the river's edge. Great place to visit and a great place to have a meal or just a cuppa.

Attended a civil wedding, nice gardens shame about the dog poo all over the lawn where photos were being taken. Champagne reception was inside, no staff to bring out trays to the family and guests involved in the photos. Great food but service slow, Breakfast was a joke with one four slice toaster and people queuing to use it. Not...

Stayed here for a family wedding. Had a great day. Food could have been more plentiful and service was pretty slow. ( my table all finished eating while back tables were still being served) veg could have also been steamed for a couple more minutes. staff were really friendly and polite. Great day overall.

We attended for a wedding and stayed 4 nights. The gardens are indeed beautiful, accessibility to the hotel is simple from the Innishannon main road. Staff are, as repeatedly mentioned, friendly, kind and helpful. If you are reading this thinking of booking a wedding please rest assured that the wedding went without a hitch (for us guests anyway) and was...
