After many years of hearing about the Killiney castle it was great to finally visit while at a recent mini schoolfriends reunion. A friend had booked afternoon tea for 8 people and when we arrived it was a hastily pushed together tables with dirty linens. The tea itself wasn't bad but what ruined it for all was the horrendous service....

The location of the hotel is wonderful and the views were great. The bed was probably the worst I have ever slept in. Lumpy and flat pillows. Room was hot and we could not seem to cool it down. Reception and check out was fine, but probably would not return here. It needs some updating as the hallways are a...

This was our Group's second time to the Fitzpatrick Castle hotel, in fact it was the outright hotel of choice when we suggested an overnight stay in the Dublin area. 38 retirees stayed here of Friday 9th December 2016 with a view to doing some Christmas shopping in Dublin centre. This is a large hotel with plenty of character. The...

Stayed in this Hotel on Saturday night. No conversation from Receptionist on checkin and was given a key for my room with no instruction on how to get there. Was given times for Breakfast - but was not told where it was served. Came down to lobby before Dinner and had to get up and down to the bar because...

I recently stayed at Killiney castle Hotel, it was a surprise gift so I didn't look it up before hand. As it's called a castle hotel I had hoped there would be more castle like features. There are very few if any and inside bares no resemblance or has none of the character one would normally find in a castle...

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It has alot to offer. The rooms are nice but nothing spectacular. The food was excellent - breakfast and dinner. The staff were very helpful and friendly except one guy at the front desk. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
