I have stayed at this hotel on four occasions over the years and despite recent upgrading, this has been my least pleasant stay. The staff in the hotel, particularly the restaurant staff are exceptionally good. The restaurant manager and the senior waitress in particular deserve a special mention. However, what was meant to be a restful weekend break was anything...

First impressions were great, we were warmly welcomed at reception by Amy who was very friendly. Our room wasn't ready but not problem, we went into the bar. Love mcgettigans bar, Dom and the girls there were friendly and attentive. Our room was comfortable if a little small but this hotel is undergoing change and has an old world charm...

Totally let down by hotel from moment we arrived. Greeted by a man who came out of a hut demanding 5 euro a night for car parking! When I asked lady at reception about this she said the car park is leased out to another company! Nowhere could I see on their website that this was policy but she assures...
