We spent 4 nights in an adequate room, with a comfortable bed, sheet and towels changed daily. Breakfast was excellent, well cooked and plenty to choose from. There are interesting things to do within walking distance of the hotel. I don't think there is a lift, but the steps are shallow so I was able to mount them despite having...

We had our wedding here on 31.12.16 and I just cannot recommend it enough. The hotel doesn't get the credit it deserves.. from the friendly staff to the fabulous food we were amazed from the minute we decided to choose the venue. The ballroom is a room of luxury and the decor is top notch. The bridal suite was just...

We have a surprise birthday lunch for a friend and David & his staff were out of this world. We had the most amazing food served in beautiful bowls and plates. They went so far as to do personal menus for the birthday girl with her photo on it. To complete the meal as it was the Beginning of the...

Stayed here as we had a function in Cahir for the weekend. It was cheap and handy but the room was freezing and dated. There was a breeze coming in the closed window, tried to turn on heating but didn't work. Also the TV in our room had no channels just fuzz. Over all was happy we only had to stay...

Stopped into Cahir on the way to Cork from Dublin. Cahir itself is about 6 minutes from the Motorway so not too far away. We drove straight up the village and spotted the hotel and went in for some lunch. We travelled with two young children and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food itself was lovely we...

Room was very dated. Bathroom had duct tape holding the side of the bath on, the extractor fan was filthy, damage to the wall and wardrobe. Mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Reception was not willing to print a boarding pass. Dinner voucher has a separate menu which has very limited options but not advised of this at time of...
