I have just been at a family wedding in Cahir house and was so impressed. All of the staff were so lovely and the whole experience felt really relaxed. The food was fantastic also. I left an item behind and called up to ask if it had been found. The manager was so lovely about following up on the lost item and kept it aside for me. I remember at one point right after the ceremony one of the staff asking another staff member if the bride had food. These are the things that really stand out about the hotel to me.

I met with Friends from Waterford half way from Cork to catch up, From the start of booking in at reception this hotel is friendly and welcoming. For a Three star hotel this gets 5 stars from me. The food is really good at dinner and the breakfast is fresh and made to order. Nothing is a problem for the staff. The room are clean and what you would expect for three star. A lively bar at night with great athmosphere. I will return and look forward to the food !

We attended a wedding at Cahir House Hotel. The civil ceremony was held at this venue also. A wedding is a milestone in the life of any couple, we found David and his staff were very attentive to the needs o our Bride & Groom and guests. The food was delicious and very plentiful. We danced until the small hours and had a super time. We were in awe of the friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel. We will return ✨✨✨✨ Thank you…

We decided to stay in Cahir to break up the journey down to Killarney and we are so glad we chose Cahir House Hotel! The receptionist was so friendly when we arrived and was helpful with our questions and the room was exactly what we needed after a long day of travelling. We both really enjoyed our (short) stay. There was no fuss and everything was as we hoped. The location is also perfect and easy to find, and so close by to the castle! Now we both agree that we must return soon and really get to enjoy the town of Cahir and relax in the Cahir House Hotel 😊

After two Covid 19 cancellations we finally had our big day. Our wedding was accommodated by the hotel from ceremony to celebration and where some guests queried if we would find it long, we now all agree it was not long enough. All requests were fulfilled and we felt so special as did our guests. Compliments to the Chef and kitchen for fantastic food, delicious and plentiful, and special diets catered for just as well. The bar staff and floor staff were friendly and efficient and Robert and Colette went the extra mile to ensure we were having our best day. The fresh flowers, chocolate and fruit in the Bridal Suite together with engraved Champagne flutes marking the date, little touches adding to the occasion. We are frequent customers of Cahir House Hotel and always enjoy our visit but we will always be greatful to the Management and Staff for making our wedding day The Best Day Ever thank you folks and keep up the excellent work. Katie Bourke and Kevin O' Donnell

We had a great stay at the Cahir House hotel. The staff were friendly, warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us, especially the receptionists Catherine and Pauline. This is an old hotel but is spotless and very comfortable. There is a relaxed atmosphere in the hotel which added to our stay. The food was fabulous- I'd heartily recommend the saffron risotto and salmon. It's a great base to explore the surrounding areas and the Knockmealdown mountains from. We will return again!

Stayed in Cahir House on May 15&16, staff very friendly and professional in all areas of the hotel, food on Sunday night and breakfast both mornings excellent, there's a gem of an area hidden behind the hotel the most tranquil and picturesque walk nestled away on your doorstep and so well maintained, we will definitely drop by again.
