Lovely B+B a few minutes from Cashel. Very comfortable and clean room but the best was the welcome from Tommy! A cup of tea and the chats as soon as you go in the door, you can't go wrong!! Great breakfast the following morning served with a smile from the main man and his lovely wife Joan. Would highly recommend if just for the Irish Blessing alone :)
My wife and I were just reminiscing about great trips we've taken and I realized I never left a review for this bed and breakfast. We weren't planning on staying, but we had some car trouble in Cashel and a waitress overheard us discussing our issues at dinner (maybe 8:00pm) and called around to find us a place to stay. The host at Tir Na Nog stayed open late for us, told us about a pub nearby we could walk to that night, and made us a delicous breakfast in the morning. It was an accident that we stayed here, but it was one of the highlights of our honeymoon.
I stayed at Tir Na Nog on the 6th March in order to attend a wedding. From the moment I stepped foot in the door until I left the welcome I had was exemplary! Tommy and Joan made me feel so welcome! The breakfast is just to die for! Tommys scrambled eggs are a must! Couldn't recommend this absolute little gem of Tipperary enough! We will be back!
This luxurious and large house is a little far from the road and a few minutes drive from Cashel. The surroundings are beautiful. A perfect place to relax. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Tom. Despite recovering from a hangover, he was very energetic and welcoming. The room we chose was very comfortable, very clean and super quiet (as you can imagine). Nothing was missing. The full Irish breakfast cooked by Tom was generous and delicious. It also came with a large variety of fresh fruits. Nothing was missing, including Tom's company! We took time to exchange with him and we discovered another man behind the facade … Unfortunately, we only met Joan for a few minutes as she was heading for work. But her warmth was immediately noticeable. Both makes a nice couple. Tom told us that it's for people like us he enjoys so much running a B&B. We could add that it's for people like him that we enjoy so much staying at B&B. Beside his sense of humour, Tom was very helpful with his suggestions (bar, restaurant, point of interest, routes, ...). This B&B really deserves its excellent rating and recognition.…
In addition to a large and very comfortable bed and the largest array of “just-in-case” toiletry products I’ve ever seen in a B & B, the proprietor, Tommy Malone, was just lovely. We were immediately made to feel welcome, as though we were old friends come for a visit. Breakfast was large and delicious. An excellent place to stay, and when we next go back to visit Cashel, we’ll certainly see if Tommy has room for us.
Stayed here a few weeks back the night before a wedding and I couldn't say nicer things about it.. Felt like I was at home, Tommy made me feel so welcome and had some great chats with him.. They went above and beyond and if you want an Irish welcome, this is it.. I wish them all the best and I sure will be back.. Thanks guys for a lovely stay!
This is great B and B warm , Cosy, clean . Ideal for visiting Cashel and surrounding areas. I was met with a friendly cup of tea and sandwich after a long days touring thanks Tommy. Breakfast was fantastic.
Tommy and Joan were gracious and welcomed us into their beautiful home. Tommy fixed a pot of wonderful Irish tea and a plate of cookies. The room was ready for us immediately. The exceptional warmth by Tommy and Joan was comforting and helped us to relax and settle in. Joan and Tommy exude genuine kind Irish hospitality. I seriously felt like we were long lost family by how welcoming they were! Our room was immaculate, comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was spacious and super clean. Joan and Tommy did their very best to make us feel like part of a big family and we became friends quickly. The breakfast was amazing. Tommy was so helpful in explaining the surrounding area and history. I would highly recommend Tir Na Nog Bed and Breakfast!! Like me, you will be glad you stayed! Don't miss it~ We had a truly wonderful and relaxing experience in Joan and Tommy’s home. Will certainly stay there again when returning to Ireland. ♥️ Georgia…
Cashel was our first stop upon arrival in Ireland and Tommy took wonderful care of us our first evening, tired as we were after flying into Dublin and driving straight there, welcoming us with a pot of tea, biscuits, and best of all, sitting with us to chat while we rested after our long day of travels. Tommy is a sincere host, happy to share about his own life and experiences in the area, and who genuinely loves hosting guests in his home (we didn't have the pleasure of meeting Joan since she was away that weekend). We enjoyed the peace and quiet being located close to but outside Cashel in the small village of Dualla. Rooms were lovely, breakfast was hearty, and my 2 year old daughter's favorite thing was getting to borrow a teddy bear for the night from their impressive collection (at every other B&B we stayed at thereafter, she notably commented on the lack of teddy bears.)…
Our first stop en route to the Wild Atlantic Way was here. Although we were quite late arriving because of the plane being delayed, Tommy was a very helpful host, ringing to see if he could get us in for a meal in town. Following his recommendation, we had a lovely meal. In the morning we had an excellent breakfast & Joan & Tommy were full of useful information regarding the next stage of our trip. All 4 of us would recommend here & it was a great start to our journey.
