The location was just perfect for the Rock. Plus the hospitality of Joan was over the top. The B & B was spotless and just a great stay. The breakfast was very very good also.

Joy's is located literally right next to the Rock of Cashel, and is about a 5 minute walk into Cashel town itself. Rem & Joan were very friendly and welcoming, however it almost felt like we were staying with them in their house, rather than at a B&B.This was not particularly a bad thing however we did feel that it...

I picked this B&B because of it's location, it's right at the base of the Rock of Cashel and has private parking (parking close to the Rock is quite expensive, so this is a bonus). We didn't know what the check-in time was, but the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm friendly welcome from Joan. She offered...

Joy's Rockside House is a great place to stay in Cashel. Situated right next to the Rock of Cashel with great views of the Rock from the room. Immaculate house, very helpful hosts. Joan gave great restaurants recommendations (Brian Boru and Lawrence's Pub). Both great choices. Fantastic breakfasts!

From DH: stayed one night in March with dad. Extremely clean B&B, but service is lacking. There is only a two hour window for checking. We got there only five minutes early and were told we would have to come back. We weren't even allowed to take a seat and wait for the FIVE MINUTES. Good location - direct view...

My daughter and I spent 2 nights at Joy's Rockside House. Joan is a "joy" as a host and was very helpful in reccomending area sights to see. The house is beautiful and is the cleanest I've ever seen. Will definitely stay again when we return to Ireland! (Joan's pancakes are wonderful-make sure you try them) Leslie and Michelle Giresi...

I stayed with Rem and Joan Joy at Joy's Rockside House and loved it! Rem and Joan are both so friendly, it was a pleasure staying in their home. I arrived around 9am that morning (my flight landed at 7am and I drove right from the airport). It was no problem when I asked if I could park in their...

We were referred to Joy's Rockside House by the bureau of tourism and were thrilled with the recommendation! My sister, Mother, brothers and I truly enjoyed the accomodations and the hospitality of Joan and Rem. Its impeccably clean and literally the closest place you can stay in to the Castle. If you go, tell them the Hayes family sends their...

We stayed here recently on our trip to Ireland. When I emailed a few days ahead with our arrival time, Joy was more than willing to let us park and check in early. She also spent a lot of time showing us the best things to see in the city, and even gave us a map and good places to...

We called in advance to let them know we were arriving early. When we got there, at 11 am, we were told that we could not check in until after 2 pm. It was cold out and my wife asked if we could change clothes there. We were told no. She asked if we could use a bathroom. We were...
