I loved my visit to Raheen House , it is such a nice change from the standard hotel stay. The staff were so personable and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I can't comment on dinner as we ate out in town, but we had a lovely breakfast and a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon tea. We also had drinks in big comfortable arm chairs in a lounge area on our return from dinner in the evening, which was just a lovely way to end the night.
We stayed in a room in the main house - I loved the feeling of history, it is embraced rather than totally erased. I had a fantastic sleep in a comfortable bed and wasn't disturbed by any noise.
The grounds around the hotel are lovely and I believe they are doing up some of the rooms outside of the main house in 2022, so I will definitely be returning to try one of the new rooms. The location is such a handy walk from the town, so no need to worry about taxis. We also did a lovely walk by the river - not sure if it is a greenway, but it was picturesque (there was even an orchard) and plenty of space to avoid walking on top of other people.
If you are looking for a bog standard stay in a hotel that is just like every other one, Raheen House may not be for you, but if you are looking for warmth and coziness and caring, attentive staff you can't go far wrong here.

We had our wedding at this venue. A much smaller affair than originally intended. We were delighted with how relaxing our day went and were made very welcome by Mark and all the staff. We were made feel special on our big day. The food was superb and the service was equally good. In these dufficult times we wish Raheen house best of luck and highly recommend anyone looking to have either a meal or hold a function here.
Yiu won't be disappointed with either foid ir service

One of the nicest hotels that I've ever been to. Situated within a short stroll of the town. Surrounded by pretty gardens and trees. The evening and morning birdsong was delightful. Our room was so comfortable with glass doors that opened out to our own little garden area with a small table and chairs. The staff were extremely attentive, pleasant and friendly. I would particularly mention Clare and Davy here for their excellent service, but all the staff were top class. We had a delicious evening meal and enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast in the morning.

We had a wonderful weekend at Raheen House with family. We were booked into 5 different rooms & each was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail & very comfortable.
The staff were amazing, so attentive & accomodating, my kiddies did not want to leave, they had so much with Claire & felt like VIP's.
It was a wonderful weekend, one we will never forget & we look forward to staying in Raheen House again.

Had a wonderful Sunday dinner here today. Plenty of choice on the menu. The roast beef was cooked beautifully. Portion sizes were plentiful. Staff were friendly and professional. Really can't fault it. We will definitely return here to eat.

I visited Raheen House Hotel on the 1st Feb, as I was meeting with some clients. The location is great and the hotel itself is lovely and full of old world charm. Despite being a historic building, it has been sympathetically updated and provides all the modern conveniences of a multinational hotel, but with character and home style cooking. The staff were absolutely amazing and the service was second to none. They frequently checked in on me, to see if I needed anything and the lunch was wholesome and delicious. I recommend the Raheen House Hotel to anyone that is looking for a fantastic venue and caring staff that put the customer first.

Went last Sunday and then on Friday, really lovely place, beautiful food, lots of social distance and Great food.. Sunday was brilliant manager there and food and service perfect.. Fast service. Only issue with Friday was we wanted dessert and the server said kitchen was closed. From managing in hospitality I found that a bit of a push off from the young ladies serving, to see them eating dessert on the hotplate inside the door. But all in all Grest food great place. Would recommend it to family and friends as a lovely setting with good food and very clean..

The house within which the rooms are located is very historic and full of character. The rooms were perfectly comfortable and it is very convenient to the town of Clonmel. Close to the river walk by the river Suir which I thoroughly recommend for walking or running.
Highlights were the enormously enjoyable full Irish breakfast with a copy of the Irish independent each day and the fantastic “hidden bar”. All staff very pleasant. Ample parking. Decent value. I will return again next time I visit my parents in Clonmel.

We stayed here on a Saturday and Sunday night in October 2020. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The place was spotless. Rooms are spacious and decor is very unique. Bed was so comfortable!! We ate dinner and breakfast here and both were delicious! The grounds of the hotel are really lovely. I would highly recommend a stay here!

I attended with a group of retired ladies a dinner theatre this month which we have attended for many years but it has changed ownership recently . The food as always was 10/10 but the room was absolutely freezing they were definitely relying on the heat from the packed room to keep everyone warm . To go into the bathroom was like walking into a freezer room . Hence I have been smothered with a bad chest infection since. What a let down to what is normally in the past an amazing night. Would not go back if this was to happen again . I have heard from others who had attended another of the 4 nights that they have experienced the same cold room 😳
