Very nice top floor room. Massive bed, A/C, large bathroom with walk in shower. All good. But if you have mobility issues you may want to look elsewhere. Plenty of stairs with no lift ( lovely old building ) . Shame being nearer to 70 then 60 we were not offered a room on the 1st floor. Perhaps our fault for not asking, so make sure you as or you could be on the top floor. Lovely stay with good craic in the bar. Also central location dead opposite Macdonalds.

We stayed for a night at Mulcahy's while visiting Clonmel after the first accommodations we had didn't work out (closed). A local woman recommended Mulcahy's after we explained our situation. She assured us that it was clean and that her own family has stayed there while visiting. She was right. We walked in to Mulcahy's and booked a double room for 80 Euro for the night which included breakfast for two. Room was spotless. Comfortable beds and a nice hot shower. Breakfast in the morning was nice and to order, not buffet style. I had the full Irish Breakfast.

Mulcahy’s is a excellent family run business which I stayed in for 4 weeks while working in Clonmel. The bedrooms had been recently renovated to a high standard during the first Covid 19 lockdown which made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and welcoming every day. The food was excellent as was the Guinness. I would definitely stay in Mulchays again when I’m in Clonmel.

A lovely place to stay in Clonmel. Great food and very comfortable bed. Well worth a visit. Paul and Sharon are great hosts and as we accepted a smaller room we were charged a single rate. Upon check in we were given a double room. Great power shower

We recently had a staff night out in Mulcahys and I cannot praise the staff and level of service enough. The area reserved for us was perfect (just as we came in the door and we had the whole area to ourselves). The food we had pre-ordered was on time and absolutely delicious and they catered for the few vegetarians in our group without any fuss . The staff present were helpful and friendly and we will be back for our next night out and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Well done to Sharon and team.

We stayed for one night last week. It is a pub/restaurant with rooms. Our room was not big but had everything we needed. It was really clean and overlooked the main st. It had youtube unlike the other 5 hotels we stayed in. We had pre-dinner drinks in the bar. One of the customers was having great banter with the bar staff and we had fun with him too. (We miss the pub!) Dinner was excellent and we were served by a lovely friendly young lady. Breakfast was slow but we weren't in a hurry. When it arrived, on lovely hot plates, it was perfectly cooked and great quality. The lady who served it was obviously under pressure but so pleasant. Would definitely recommend Mulcahy's.

A friend and I had the pleasure of spending 2 nights recently in Mulcahy's newly refurbished hotel in Clonmel. The rooms are classy, very comfortable and in pristine condition. The food is beautiful - great choice on offer and presented by highly professional and courteous staff. We opted to eat there on both nights given the pleasure of dining there on our first night. We would both highly recommend Mulcahy's Hotel as a place to stay.

This is very basic accommodation over a pub in the centre of Clonmel. Our room was clean but it was rather dark and depressing and appeared to have been furnished at the lowest possible cost.

At a cost of €150 for one night in a double room without breakfast was it was considerably overpriced. I would suggest trying anywhere else in Clonmel
