I stayed here with my husband for one night. We were traveling around in the north. The room we stayed was at the top and was an en suite. The views from the bathroom were quite nice. We had to open the windows as in the evening it got too hot (heating was on) The room and bathroom very clean,...

I booked a nights stay here 2-3 weeks in advance and was phoned on the morning to see if I was still coming. I phone back and sais yes and was told thanks. Upon arrival I was told that due to the house being old their pipes were leaking and thus closed. Why was I not told this earlier when...

This is by far the quaintest hotel I've ever stayed in and they've gone all out to provide the ultimate Edwardian experience, from the beautiful 4-poster beds to the antique cutlery and the black and white uniformed staff, who I have to say are a credit to the guest house. IT was clean and well maintained. I absolutely loved it....

Mattress well past use-by date, resulting in 2 uncomfortable nights. Raised this matter with staff member after 1st night, and was told they would move us to another room. However, when we returned to guesthouse later that evening we found that we had not been moved. Disappointed, as otherwise the accommodation was comfortable, clean and the breakfast was excellent. However,...

Authentically Edwardian, good place to be for a couple of days. The breakfasts are good and the hostess was excellent. Very conveniently situated with quiet comfortable rooms. Our room had a 4 poster bed which added to the overall ambience.

What can I say about Innisfree house? It's absolutely gorgeous! The room my husband and I stayed in had a bathroom en suite. The room was warm, clean, and comfortable, with antique furniture and a real Edwardian feel. The bathroom was small-ish but the shower was fairly easy to operate. The breakfast served in the morning was delicious. The home...

We spent a pleasant night at Innisfree House. Perfect for our needs for a quick visit to family. Not too expensive, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast in the morning and friendly staff. Within walking distance to town but far enough out so you won't be disturbed by the noise. It's decor is Olde Worlde, chic, boutique style. Don't expect mod-cons....

Awful place. Window couldn't be closed in freezing temperatures. Dog barked all night. Shower from the 1950s!. Toilet roll holder had a piece of copper to hold on the paper. Fixtures loose. Had tried to cancel a week before due to change of requirements but they were charging 70% cancellation fee... that was a week before we were due to...

When we first booked in I wondered if I'd made a mistake! The room was so old fashioned and at first glance I hated it. We stayed for two night and I can't explain why it grew on me but it did. It was spotlessly clean and had ample wardrobe space and everything we needed. It was a lovely big...
