Myself, my partner and kids went for lunch. It was as basic as you can get. My goujons and chips did not come with any kind of salad, although it was on the menu. The kids goujons did not come with dips like it said on the menu When I asked for a dip I was being charged an extra 2 eur but I explained kids didn't get their dips. It was veeerryy expensive for what it was. Last time il be there.

Nothing is too much trouble, A special thank you to Adele who is a very friendly and warm-hearted person. This was our second visit and no doubt we will be back.

It was our anniversary last week so we headed from Bray to the Ballymascanlon and hard lunch outside which was wonderful. The gardens must be the best hotel gardens in the country and so well maintained. We will certainly keep it on our list

Just returned home from a fantastic couple of days in the Ballymascanlon. It's always a great place to stay and holds many happy memories for us over the years and this time was no exception. Management and staff are working hard to make things as normal as possible and this made our stay absolutely lovely. All the staff were great but special mention should go to Catriona in the restaurant and Gertrude, Stephen and Jason in the bar who were so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back
