We are just back from spending the weekend in the Bay View and what a weekend. From the moment we arrived it was soo welcoming and beautiful. Aine was such a great help with suggestions on places to go and visit, places to eat etc. Her B&B is amazing and such attention to detail. The rooms are very spacious and decorated to a very high spec and soo comfortable.Breakfast was beautiful with fruit and pastries followed by a selection of hot dishes to choose from. The B&B has such an amazing view we had to make the most of it and sit on our balcony which overlooked Garnish Island. We already are booking again for later in the summer as have to return.

This is a comfortable, well furnished and good value B&B just outside Glengarriff (approx 12 min walk to the centre). I had a warm welcome throughout my stay from Aine. There is a seating area at the back with lovely views over the bay. Breakfast was excellent. My room at the front was very comfortable (but could be improved by frosted glass in the bathroom which overlooks the main road). I will certainly stay here again.

Absolutely fabulous.

Amazing views of the gorgeous Glengariff Bay. When booking ask for a room with a Bay view. You will be lucky to get one.
Beautifully appointed bedrooms and immaculate and modern en-suite. The shower was a treat.
The breakfast was just regal. Individually prepared to meet our requirements, tasty and plentiful. Nothing was too much trouble.
The best bit ....... the hosts! They said "make yourself at home" and they meant it.
Áine and Geraldine were so helpful, friendly and fun. I was travelling with my special needs brother and he just felt so at home. Everyone in the breakfast room was chatting in a very relaxed atmosphere.

It was so nice, we departed two hours late!.

Thank you Áine and Geraldine.

We hope to visit again.

Had booked for a 4 night stay but only stayed 2. Room clean and tidy but ensuite to the front of building with no frosted glass in window when I went to lower the blind it had been jammed up with a bit of tissue in the cord and came crashing down. The web site mentioned a coffee shop but it looks like this is not operating. Tables in the breakfast room all seem to be levelled by a napkin under the leg.
The main reason for us not staying the 4 nights was the breakfast, my wife had French toast and it was served burnt side down and soggy in the centre whilst my full Irish was grossly overcooked. To sum up not the boutique experience we were expecting .

We have only amazing things to say about our two nights in Bay View. Aine is wonderful and welcoming, she instantly makes you feel so at ease and at home. She wants you to treat her b&b as a second home and it is very genuine. The location is great, just outside Glengarriff. Aine recommended places for us to visit, see, eat etc. which was really helpful. She has a beautiful view from the back of the house looking out over the bay which we could also see from our room. The rooms are gorgeous and very clean too. The breakfast is delicious and very generous which sets you up nicely for the day. We originally only had one night booked but we liked it so much we asked Aine could we stay a second night. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I stayed in a very spacious twin room. The linen and towels were excellent, and the beds very comfortable.

The owner, Aine, was delightful - very friendly and easy to work with. She cooked the best french toast I've had in years.

The B&B sits with a beautiful view of the bay, and a little path down to the rocky beach (not a swimming beach).

We recently stayed three nights in this beautiful B and B which is located on the way into town, probably a 15 min walk I to town. Lots of safe parking at the rear. The view from the rear of the bay and Garnish island is spectacular. We stayed in a large twin bedroom which was en suite! Fab shower , beautifully decorated and amazing beds! We slept like logs. Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. Aine was extremely helpful and had great suggestions. We ate in Caseys hotel each of the three nights. Loved the Beara peninsula and will definitely return. Highlight was Dursey island and the amazing Healy pass. We had spectacular weather.

We stayed here a few weeks ago as two couples and Aine couldn't have been more helpful. From the beautiful rooms to the stunning views to the excellent breakfast. Aine was also on hand to recommend local bars and restaurants to try. Fabulous stay and we will definitely return. Thanks again Aine and your staff for a great weekend.

I stayed in Bayview in 2021, and it was so good I went back again this year. The location, the accommodation, the hospitality are all outstanding.
Aine will make you feel like you are part of her family, and will go above and beyond at every opportunity to provide a top class service. Her breakfast was far better than any hotel buffet, her local knowledge and tips more informative than any guidebook.
Book in here and you won't regret it.

Could not hope for a more special place. Beautiful rooms and fantastic host. Views from back of house over the bay are beautiful. Our host, Aine provided everything that you needed to about Glengarriff as well as Beare peninsula. Breakfast was first class. Prices very reasonable. Give 10/10.
