Detailed Reviews
We stayed at Beechwood House as we had a friend's wedding in Glengarriff and we absolutely loved it. It was only a short drive away from the village and easy to find.
Ann was so sweet and extremely hospitable plus our spacious room was gorgeous overlooking the bay and the mountains and so comfortable.
Glengarriff is a very quaint little village with plenty of things to do. It was very peaceful and we spent a lovely few days at Beechwood House and will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Whilst attempting to find lodgings in Glengarriff, a B & B owner with no vacancies called a friend to see if they could accommodate us, and what a lucky find. The location is about three miles south of Glengarriff on the R572. The warmest of welcomes with the offer of rooms available provided us with a really warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean room within a lovely house situated with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains, really unbelievable. A delicious full breakfast set one up for the rest of the day. If in this area again, would definitely use again and would strongly recommend. Full wifi is available.

After a massive let down over the filthy house that we had rented Ann and her husband came to our rescue.they put 6 of us up at very short notice run us into town for dinner as we had had an exhausting upsetting day. They loaned me bedding to take back to the house we had rented when we had to go back when it's was more acceptable. They could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was delicious

We stayed one night at this B&B about 2km outside the centre of Glengarriff. The grounds are well kept, attractive and peaceful, so suited us nicely, but wouldn't be ideal if you were traveling from the main street bars.
Due to request from other guests with special needs we were moved from the main house to a chalet in the garden which suited us well as the adults could read in the lounge area outside the bedroom while the children settled to sleep. The decor of this accommodation was dated and could do with painting, but we didn't see the main house rooms where most guests are placed.
Breakfast was very nice and the hostess was very helpful and friendly with information and suggestions for potential routes etc
Good value and recommended

This B+B is set on a lovely site with nice views from the lawn. The owners made us feel right at home for the night. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. It probably just a little too far to walk from Glengarriff

Anna and Rose were warm and generous hosts when we stayed with them. Our room was nicely furnished and the location of the B & B was perfect for what we wanted for our stay in Glengarriff. Rose was quite helpful in suggesting places to visit. And the breakfast was fantastic! Best of all, we got to play with Sammy, the cat.

Old 1700 house completely renovated to 2016-17 standards.
Owners are great as evidenced by my wife losing a crown at 3:00 on a Friday afternoon and they found dentist in Blarney who repaired it about an hour.
Breakfast was very good.
Excellent review well earned.

Beechwood House was am excellent place to stay – quiet and peaceful with wonderful view from the bedroom window. Ann was so kind and ran us in to Glengarriff for an evening meal offering to pick us up – we walked back it was such a lovely evening.
We could not fault the rooms and the breakfast room was spotless, bright and cheerful. We had a lovely breakfast on both mornings.
The Glengarriff area and the Ring of Beara are so unspoilt – far better, in our opinion, than the Ring of Kerry & Dingle – much less touristy. Wonderful walks, so well laid out. The Glengarriff forest is beautiful.
We want to return in the spring and Beechwood House will be at the top of our list to stay.

Stayed here for two days with my family. The house is wonderful. The owners were very gracious and welcoming. The house was very lovely with plenty of room. Close to Glengariff town. Wonderful breakfast included. If you get a chance I would highly recommend staying at this B&B. Say hi to Cindy the dog if you visit.
