Needed a last minute stay in waterville. I was referred to lakelands farm guesthouse. I was told it is now only bed no breakfast. We arrived up to stay and were met by Frank who couldn't have been friendly. We had two rooms that were both extremely clean and comfortable. After heading off for the day we met Ann. Again, she was extremely welcoming and friendly. The house has direct access to the lake. We all had an extremely comfortable sleep. In the morning we had full access to the kitchen. Ann had milk, juices for the kids, tea / coffee, butter, jam, marmalade. All we need was a few croissants from the local shop and it was a perfect breakfast. We had noticed they had boats at the lake and asked Frank if he would take us all out. He took us all out for an hour and a half. He was an amazing guide and even let the kids row the boat in a circle! I couldn't recommend this place enough. Ann and Frank were amazing and would definitely stay again…
We had a lovely stay in this fabulous location, the breakfast was nice, especially fruit salad. Nice evening walk down to the lake was so calming and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
Nice to stay at Anne and Franck's guest house, wonderful cuisine made by Anne! We really feel at home in this cosy house after a long day outside, searching woodcocks in the nice territories of Kerry! I will certainly come back next year for the sixth time!
My wife and myself stayed there for one night as we did the Skellig Michael Tour from Caherdaniel the next morning. After the Ring of Kerry tour we arrived in Waterville, which is a nice town at the oceanside and afterwards we headed directly to the B&B, where we met our host, Anne. She handed us over our keys and made tea with cookies for us, while our arrival was late in the afternoon. When we told her that we will check out early in the morning she made us sandwiches for the next day. It was so nice staying at this B&B that we even would have liked to stay one night longer, so that we could have enjoyed it even more.
we stayed ( family of 4 ) one week in the Lakeland Farmhouse, The owner , Anne Donnelly , is naturally friendly, She will make sure you have a fine stay/vacation, They serve a FULL Irish breakfast ( eggs, bacon,sausages...)or French toast or scrambled eggs....Rooms are large and very clean. Only one remark: credit cards not accepted. That's ok, but should be told by booking or at least on arrival,
