Beautiful get away with friends to Inny bay this weekend. Deirdre and Paul looked after us very well with plenty of attention to detail. Paul's breakfasts are fabulous and everything prepared fresh on the morning. The surroundings are stunning over looking the lake and the cows in the field to Izzy coming over for a little tickle all makes this place feel like a home from home. Lovely stay and would highly recommend.

Sometimes you need peace, sometimes silence and nice people around. Sometimes you are missing your holidays on farm. If I am right you need to go there and spend some time. Owners are very friendly people, they offer great breakfast. You may walk around farm, go fishing or just sit and read (my personal choice). We will be back. Thank you:))

Two weeks ago, our family stayed at Inny Bay B&B for two nights. Inny Bay is like a Garden of Eden in central Ireland. It's located about 100 meters from the shores of Lough Ree, and the beauty and tranquility of Deirdre and Paul's home and surroundings are intoxicating! When we weren't driving to other attractions, I took walks at every opportunity around the surrounding area.

But Inny Bay also charms from inside its walls. Deirdre welcomed us with hot drinks in her dining room, which looks out over the picturesque scenery. The lounge is fitted with a fireplace (which was much appreciated on the chilly nights), a refrigerator with some complimentary items, tea/coffee maker, and chairs, sofas, and tables for all guests to sit quietly and interact with each other.

The rooms were comfy and spotless, and Deirdre and Paul were so nice, and obviously try hard to make their guests feel like they're at home, even if living out of suitcases. They provide a menu with choices, and will serve you any combination from the whole menu with a cheery "No problem!"

You need a car to reach Inny Bay, and the approach road is a bit long and narrow, although there are so few vehicles around there, you won't even feel them.

Deirdre allows guests to use her laptop for accessing internet and e-mail, but since the location is out of Broadband range, you have to pay a 5 Euro/half hour fee to connect. She's fair about it, and won't quibble if you stay connected slightly longer.

We received all of the above at a reasonable room rate. I can't possibly imagine what other more expensive B&Bs in Ireland offer over and beyond Inny Bay, which absolutely is one of my all-time favorite travel accommodations. On my next trip to Ireland, I will definitely plan to use Inny Bay as a base for several days.

Very comfortable stay with an awesome breakfast- Lovely view of the lake from the breakfast room. A bit off the beaten path- made sure we were back before it got dark. Paul was very gracious host. Try the Villager restaurant in Glasson!

My husband and I visited in February of 2012 and had a great time here. Our trip in Ireland was a short trip that included one night at Inny Bay. It's about 1.5 hours away from Dublin, in a pretty location on the shore of Lough Ree. Highlights of the B & B experience included a hospitable welcome with tea and snacks, a wonderful breakfast, beautiful scenery, and a precious opportunity to see farm animals including sweet lambs.

Innay Bay is one of the best Bnbs I have ever stayed in. The room and the service was perfect. The location and atmosphere was truly magical. It’s close to the town of Glasson, which has great restaurants. It’s also close enough to Athlone and Tullamore to enjoy those towns as well.
The closer is Paul and his fantastic breakfast and service.
You must experience Innay Bay. First class

When the B&B we stayed at the last time we were in this area closed, we had to look for a new one. We stumbled across this one. It was a stroke of luck. Paul & Deirdre were excellent hosts. Even though we weren't there to fish, they made as feel right at home like their other guests. The room and the breakfast were excellent.

My colleague and I had a fantastic stay at Inny Bay B&B - Paul could not have been more accommodating; cooking us up breakfast early every morning despite being outside of the normal breakfast hours. The breakfast was delicious, the B&B exceptionally clean, having everything we needed and more. Thanks for a great stay Inny Bay B&B - we definitely recommend!

"Research how to get there! We had trouble finding it at first and needed to stop and ask directions a couple times. Travel to Tang, then turn at the school (Tang is a very small town). From there, you can just follow signs to the house."
