Dear enda k, Many thanks for your recent review. As you mentioned, due to the unfortunate weather over the Christmas period we teamed up with our near neighbours Athlone Golf Club to utilize their car park. I appreciate your feedback regarding the price of our drink. We aim to be competitively priced across the board, but I will bring your...

Spent some time in the hotel over Christmas - must compliment the friendly manner of the staff throughout our stay. Very polite and simply couldnt do enough to make our stay more enjoyable. Check in was very quick and straight-forward, even during what was a very busy time for the hotel at this time of year.

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending Christmas at the Hodson Bay Hotel in 2015. From the moment we checked into the hotel we were greeted and treated so well. The food, entertainment, music, rooms were brilliant. There was something for all ages and we enjoyed it immensely. From the champagne and mulled wine reception in the dome...

My friends and I arrived during the flooding in December and a very kind member of staff allowed us to park in the staff car park so our car would be OK. He then helped us in the back door and showed us to reception. The staff were wonderful and the room was beautiful and spacious. We attended the party...

My third time here. Booked in with my partner for 2 nights over New Year. Straight off I did not like the room. I could have cried. Was an attic type corner room - boring and basic. When you pay up to almost 500euro for 2 nights you expect something grander. I did ring reception and ask to be upgraded...

Stayed here recently and was dissapointed with the breakfast. First of all we were shown to a table that was half set, cutlery missing etc. We sorted that out ourselves. Cold buffet was nice , good selection constantly restocked. However the hot food was another story. Not been restocked, empty trays in the buffet. Sausages that were there were white...

My wife and I had a wonderful 2 night break at the Hodson Bay.
