My wife and I spent one night here taking advantage of the spa and restaurant. We were both very pleased with all aspects of our stay. Firstly the staff - warm, friendly and helpful. The restaurant - it is big and busy which might mean generic food but we were blown away with the quality. It's a small menu but...

Beautiful location and Hotel .weather is mild for this time of year but as it is February the water activities are zero. My wife had a spa treatment on the Saturday at the hotel which she enjoyed. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean plus the bathroom. The food at the bar and breakfast was...

Just spent three nights at the Hodson Bay hotel in Athlone and would definitely recommend it. The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room on the first floor had a magnificent view over the lake. Quite a large room and very comfortable. The bar is really nice and the breakfast room bright and well appointed...

Our visit started at 11.30am on 7/2/17 and ended 5.00pm on 10/2/17. We had booked a 3 night package for over 55s with breakfast and evening meal. This deal at 399 euros was a bargain. The exemplary service started on arrival which was 5 hours before official check in. The reception staff immediately made it a priority for our room...

Been here several times and love this hotel. The breakfast is amazing with every taste catered for. Evening meals in restaurant are a true dinning experience. Staff are superb and very easy to deal with. The smoking area is a disaster, outside under umbrellas, wide open to elements.

I've been here on a couple of occasions now, bit first time for a review. Myself and the boss decided to treat ourselves for Christmas, and booked a bit.of luxury for a child free night. Booked the penthouse with breakfast and dinner, and whilst it was a wee bit expensive, it was fully worth it. The room itself is tastefully...
