My husband and I stopped in Athlone to get something to eat and my husband found this absolute gem on line. A warm, friendly atmosphere from the minute you walk in the door. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our food was delicious! A varied menu to suit everyone and divine desserts! We will be back again on our journey home!

Food and presentation was excellent. Salad freshly prepared and chips with skins on were so tasty. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Eton Mess and Lemon Meringue were delish. We will definitely be back.

We were recommended this establishment from a local man. I wanted good bar food and plentiful. This is exactly what I got. A great inviting welcome and nothing was a problem. All staff very friendly and chatty. It was busy but staff very relaxed and well able to cope. Excellent working organised team. Menu great variety from great sized steaks, great buffalo wings, fish, stir fry, paninis etc. All meals came with freshly cut potato chips and a side salad also. Presentation excellent, quick service and food and plates hot when served. Change to meals etc was no problem. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. I will be back in the future. They also have a lovely beer garden if you want to enjoy the weather or bring your pet dog. Well Done all.

Popped into the Bailey for dinner and a drink, had no booking but they were so accommodating. Served by Paidi who was extremely friendly and helpful, made us feel right at home. Great choice on menu and the wraps we got were amazing, will 100% be back for more!

Can not recommend enough. The staff we so accommodating and friendly, especially Seamus and Shannon and the lads on the bar. Couldn’t do enough for us and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back. Love your new friends, Naoise, Shannon and Katie

We were advised by a friend to try The Bailey. We were so impressed from the minute we walked in the door. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The service was excellent and the food was out of this world. Highly recommend checking them out you won't be disappointed.

Stayed over night, to socialise with friends in Athlone! A Great night was had by all & the staff are very efficient & friendly. Food was lovely with prompt service. Busy Bar with good atmosphere. Accommodation is spot on!

Came from family meal and a night stay in the B&B, food was excellent and drink was great staff is amazing.rooms are comfortable Would higly recommend for a getaway for a family and kids are welcome and well looked after. Very cheap

Absolutely fantastic restaurant and pub lovely food, very generous portion sizes, friendly staff, and lovely patio area out the back. everything you could ask for. We really enjoyed our meals. definitely recommend

Having family over from England for a week we have tried many eateries all week.... Stumbled upon this place and oh dear lord what a treat. Food was just beautiful, staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly... Family ages ranged from 19month baby to 80yr old father in law and all ages in between . 7 of us in total and we were all so very impressed. Myself and husband will definitely be back soon.... Family will be back on their next visit. Huge well done to whoever rubs this place it's perfect spot and I can't recommend highly enough
