This Hostel was nice and warm and welcoming. The staff was very friendly. The kitchen facilities are not open 24 hours, so if you arrive late or want to depart early you can make food. Rooms are nice, clean and big.

Helpful staff, lovely complimentary breakfast, great value and very near all the amenities. Option of getting to know other visitors in chill-out rooms. They also have a bar that sells wine or you can bring your own drink.

Great service/staff. They offer laundry service (they wash your clothes for you) for 7€. Free wi-fi. They provide bread and cereals for breakfast. Fully-equipped kitchen. Ideally located: 2 minutes walk from a great Pub and restaurants. Across the street from the Burren Smokehouse. Very close to the village. Not perfectly clean (especially the bathroom), but not bad. The shower/bath does... More

This hostel was cheap and cheerful and just what we needed for our weekend as we were only going to be sleeping in the room as away during the day. On arrival we were greeted by such a friendly Irish girl who gave us the run down on where to go. On the following morning when we woke up our... More

A hostel with a hotel feel set in pleasant gardens and away from the main road. Basic, quiet dorm room (number 4) with two toilets and showers (although females didn't tend to share), cosy living room with comfy seating and open fire (great for drying off damp boots!), plush dining/breakfast room and large open kitchen. A few local walks, interesting... More

The receptionist is extremely rude. I would not recommended this hostel to anyone who wants a welcoming stay in Co. Clare. If you're travelling to Clare, especially from outside Ireland, do not choose this hostel for a warm welcome

The hostel seemed a bit dirty in general. The rooms had some luggage storage available. There was hardly any water pressure in the shower. I didn't like that the wifi only worked in the common areas. The staff were kind and helpful for the most part.

Would not recommend this hostel to anyone, reception staff were French and could hardly speak English, room was dirty as we're the toilet and shower cubicle. We also have an ongoing dispute over an unauthorised payment taken from our credit card, staff not very pleasant and need to learn how to book in guests on the computer!

The hostel actually looks quite nice, it used to be a hotel. However the condition of the rooms are pretty bad. Like holes in doors and showers working poorly, not very clean either. Staff is nice though. Want a private room? Then this place is way to expensive.
