To spend an evening at Helen's home is to breathe in Ireland. It was a highlight of my 2-week trip. Helen's home is clean, her breakfast extraordinary, and the garden she has created over many years allowed me to have a quiet, transcendental experience, walking through a magical world that Helen has lovingly created.

The room was comfortable, extremely clean, and well-treated. We were welcomed warmly and afforded so much privacy. The hostess cooked me the best omelette (ham and cheese) that I have ever eaten, as part of a facntastic breakfast. Just a short walk into Lisdoonvarna. It's a fantastic spot, and for an extremely good price given the service.

My husband , myself and my brother were on a motorcycle trip doing part of the wild Atlantic way in August of 2016. We stay here for one night and had a terrific stay. Our host was very accommodating with giving us access to the B&B and also for providing us with behind the house parking for our motorcycles. It is on a very quiet country Road so we weren't too concerned about safety but seeing as though two of the bikes were rented we were happy for the accommodation. The house is approximately a mile, maybe two at the most, from town. Town has many different restaurants to choose from. Town is cute, but big enough for a chemist shop and multiple types of restaurants. I needed to use an air pump for my motorcycle and the local mechanic in town kindly helped me with that.( I couldn't get his air pump nozzle to fit on my tire and he stopped what he was doing to help me) Back at the B&B we both had bathrooms en suite and our rooms were nice ,neat and clean. We were able to take showers and had breakfast the next day. Wi-Fi was also available. Breakfast included multiple buffet options as well as the standard hot Irish. We had lovely homemade yogurt with fresh fruit as well. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt refreshed and ready to go in the morning. I can't say enough about Irish B&B breakfasts. Everywhere we have stayed there are so many options and the coffee is always flowing. Our hosts are always chatty when we need them and gracious. This B&B was no exception. And a beautiful area to travel for scenery and the like. If given the option I would love to stay here again!

Lisdoonvarna is a nice place- quaint and nice to potter about. Stayed in Ore-A-Tava B&B which is about a mile out of the village towards Ballyvaughan. Simple B&B but nice breakfast and location-was a great stroll from the pub in the evening back to the B&B!:) Water pressure in shower was only bad point. Ate at the Royal Spa bar - which was great food and a great trad session starting around 10! Great place indeed. Also ate at the chinese on the corner which was lovely.Lynch's for snacks was also good.Avoided sheedy's as menu looked tiny & not that great. Lisdoonvarna looked the best bet for the area to stay.Doolin has good pubs but is really spread out.Ballyvaughan looked good too but not much there.
