Best hotel on our visit to Ireland. The fresh baked cookies in the room, the warm fire to welcome us from a rainy day bike riding. Very charming hotel. Make sure you eat at the restaurant. The food is wonderful. Thank you Sheedys for your wonderful hospitality to our group.

My husband and I stayed here one night. We visited the cliffs in the afternoon and needed a place for the night before heading out to Dingle in the morning. This place is really cute and Martina takes good care of her guests. We ate dinner at the cozy bar and had the most amazing fish and chips! The breakfast...

About a week ago, having heard good things about the food in Sheedy's hotel in Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare, we made our way in glorious sunshine, from Cork City to the heart of Clare. The landscape was lovely, subtly different from the fields and hills of our native Cork, with winding hedges, hillocky fields and limestone walls. Unfortunately we did have...

Stayed here on a last minute booking on our way back from a few days break. The rooms were really comfortable and very spacious. Best surprise however was the food - fantastic dinner in the bar followed by a wonderful breakfast the next day. Every detail was perfect and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. If we can we'll...

Shelly's is a very nice, very reasonably priced hotel in a great location for exploring the Burren. Lisdoonvarna is a wonderful little town with some great restaurant and pub choices after exploring the region so a great place to spend a night or two. We were only here for one night, a Sunday, so weren't able to try their restaurant...

The couple (John and Martina) who run this hotel are highly skilled professionals. He cooks -- superbly -- and she manages front of house. Everything runs like a well-oiled machine. You'll enjoy top quality produce, much of it local, prepared with love. As well as cooking fabulous meals, they grow veggies and make their own jam, marmalade and biscuits. They...

This is just what you want from a "country house". The family that runs it works very hard to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The room I had was huge with afternoon tea-making supplies (including small pots of cookies) restored daily. The bathroom was spotless, old-fashioned, and very large, with comfy robes and heated towels. There was privacy, a...

Lovely lovely staff and greeting. Rooms perfect. Breakfast great. Dinner in restaurant really excellent. Close to everywhere we wanted to go. Had a trip to Inis Mor today and back. Easy to get to also. We stayed for 2 nights. Would return without a doubt.

Arrived as part of a group for a bicycle trip in Ireland...Inn-keeper was able to get some laundry sent out with very short notice. The food was AMAZING....locally sourced fish, lamb, meats. Local produce with grommet preparation!! Room was large, airy, well-lit. Very wonderful stay. Would recommend to everyone!!
