This is an older hotel. The rooms are small, but cozy. There is no elevator so you'll have to carry your bags upstairs to your room. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was quite good. We did not eat in the dining room or the cafe so I cannot comment.

This hotel is in a great location. You can pretty much walk the entire small town, so there isn't a "bad" spot for a hotel. You can walk to a restaurant or store in 3 minutes. The room was nice, and the bed was comfortable. Not a ton of pillows, but I'm sure we could have asked for one. The...

Not bad especially with delicious free breakfast. Comfortable, cozy and clean. They have a be but no live music but cold pints available at decent prices. The only thing I have an issue with is the 19 inch tv. Too small. But didn't spend too Much time in room Free wifi

We stayed at the Royal for a restful night in late March after a tiring day spent driving and touring Dingle and the Cliffs of Moher. The Royal is a great combination of modern convenience and a glimpse of days gone by when the Irish elite visited the town to partake in the mineral water “baths.” The rooms were spacious...

This hotel is, less than 30mins driving distance from many of Clare's popular spots including the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, Ailwee Caves,The Burren & Lahinch. It was fantastic to spend such little time in the...

My family had lunch here last Sunday, the soup was delicious & the sandwiches were freshly made with very tasty ingredients. The lady that served us was very nice & all the staff spoke to us. Fantastic place to stop while visiting Clare.

The hotel is a bit old, but atmospheric. Our room (triple) was spacious. It was a bit cold at night, but this didn’t disturb the quality of our sleep. The internet was working perfectly in our room. Breakfast was fresh (scrambled eggs, full Irish breakfast, omelette, etc.). The café, where breakfast was served is nice. The lady at the reception...
