Detailed Reviews
My wife, son and I stayed for two nights and were very pleased with the hotel considering the all restriction being imposed on it by the current Covid 19 pandemic.
The bedroom was basic but clean and the breakfast, particularly the porridge was excellent.
The hotel is a throw back to times gone by but that in itself, adds to its overall charm.

A country hotel n the centre of town. It was handy to be able to park on the premises though it times I guess it would be full as the parking lot is not very big. Room was clean and adequate for a one night stay. Though we had some very noisy neighbours, so the walls are not sound proof.

Well, we were passing through and decided to stop overnight in Lisdoonvarna. This hotel was wonderful. Hotel itself and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast in the cafe the next morning was delicious. And although we only got to stay one night, we will be sure to make more time on our next trip. Very reasonably priced and I can honestly say it was THE most comfortable bed for our entire trip. Can't wait for next years visit.
I should also add that I accidentally left my kindle in the room and Ann was so kind to pack it up and mail it to me at my cousins house.

The room was rather small and cramped and somewhat dated.
The bath was dangerously slippy and its handrail was coming loose.
The duvet provided was far too thick and therefore too hot for the Summer.
The single bed was sloping the wrong way.
Breakfast was OK, though.

Stayed here for one night. We had rang to book a room but were told there was no vacancies however could book a room online. Hotel has nice old stone external but the interior is very dated. Rooms are small and very noisy from the street and cleaners the following morning who start at 8. We visited in August, the bar doesn't open until 5 and when we returned after food at 9 were told it was already closed again. Seemed like a hotel that isn't fully open or functional. Strange considering we visit in August, still summer season.

Visited during the off-season. Most hotels were shut, most restaurants closed while I visited. Place was beautiful, affordable, and the staff were great. I mentioned my trip plans to travel by foot and bus casually while having breakfast and got offered a free lift to my next stop in the back of a car, right to the door. Planning to visit again during the Summer!

Great ovetnight stop on motorbike trip on Wild Atlantic Way. 5 stars for very comfortable bed and 5 stars for food being great for the price point. Would stay again if I was on a similar trip. I would recommend booking direct by phone. Rooms away from front are quieter. Motorcycle parking at rear

Charming Hotel. Nice owners and staff. I felt very welcomed. Good value for money. The building has a nice old interior. The bedroom was good and the mattress was excellent (first time i have ever pointed that out in a review) There was a gig on in their venue when i was there which was great. If your are staying in County Clare search this place out!

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean and with great fresh food, Relaxed but professional place. The bed was super comfortable. The home backing and coffee were very good, a lovely place to relax and chill out. Ideal for trips to the Burren, Fanore, Doolin all round. I will be back !!
