Very love location! Barbara is a very special host, she welcome us in her house with her kindness and she listens to all our needs! room is very nice and tidy! Breakfast is very good and there are many differents choices, including yogurt, cereali and delicious pancakes homemade by Barbara! There also is the possibility of Irish breakfast if you want! Great guesthouse with a nice garden, full comfort, nice and well equiped rooms, dining and relaxation space! Barbara and her husband made us feel home, spoiled us at breakfast and provided us with fantastic suggestions for the trips around and the restaurants/pubs! The Sky Road is an absolute MUST!

Barbara is an excellent host, she has a beautiful and clean home with every necessary accommodation. She supplied us with recommendations dinner reservations in town, maps of the nearby sights and an overall excellent experience for me, my wife, and my kids. It is perfect for families. Just perfect!! Barbara is awesome!!

We found the place randomy, travelling through the area and we were pleasantly surprised! A cosy family room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The owners were very kind and hospitable, the breakfeast was great too! Situated just a few minutes walk from a quiet village of Oughterard, this is a great place for explorirng Galway bay and the Connacht region.

I have stayed at Woodlands a couple times now and cannot say enough good things. The property is beautiful and walking distance to the main street and a couple pubs. Rooms are absolutely gorgeous and breakfast is the delicious way to start your day. Highly recommend and will continue to return to this gem.

We booked at the last minute and Barbara was very accommodating. The B&B is located in fabulous gardens and is a short walk to Oughterard town centre. Our room was excellent as was the breakfast. I would highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Walking distance to a small town with couple of bars and restaurants. Hosts were amazing and so is the place itself. Clean and spacious rooms, and very tasty breakfast included. Definitely worth recommending. Would stay here again. 10/10.

I stayed in woodlands guest accommodation in oughterard co galway. The owners Barbara and John we so nice the house was excellent, the breakfasts were excellent and plenty of everything. I would highly recommend for anyone to give them a visit.
