We spent three nights here last week. Henry and family were welcoming and very helpful. Our room was spacious with gorgeous views of the gardens and mountains. The food was outstanding and I particularly appreciated all of the adjustments that were made to the menu to accommodate dietary requirements. All of the staff were friendly… it’s running at reduced capacity at the moment, but with the COVID procedures in place felt very safe. Stunning setting, I loved swimming in the lake. It was the perfect place for a relaxing break… we hope to go back before too long! Thanks so much for making the trip so special!

So special you won’t want anyone else to know about it. Supremely comfortable bed with a gorgeous bathroom view over the tree tops, best enjoyed from your bubble bath with the window wide open listening to the birdsong! Accomplished, impressive and utterly delicious dinners from a very professional and intuitive kitchen, using seasonal goodies from the land and presented with an excellent wine selection. Warm engaging hosts, attentive, helpful and polite. You wont want to leave!

We spent two nights in this lovely spot. Our room was in the old part of the house with a view over the garden and lake. It was very comfortable and bright. The house is old and well maintained with parts of the antiquities still visible. You could spend a day wandering the grounds, playing croquet, swimming in the lake or just messing about in the many boats there.

This is our forth visit to Currarevagh. All the superlatives and plaudits received in reviews are well deserved. The experience provided has stood the test of time. In other years Irish guests were in a minority. This year, with Covid, the guests were exclusively Irish during our stay. It was wonderful to see them enjoying the welcome, ambiance, food and surroundings. Well done to the Hodgson family and staff. We look forward to our next visit.

We recently spent 2 nights in Currarevagh House and loved every minute. We were made feel so welcome form the moment we arrived. The food is of an extremely high standard: the nicest meals we had on our whole trip away! My only regret is that we didn’t book in for dinner the second night too. This is a truly unique experience, one which I couldn’t recommend more.
