This was my first B&B experience in Ireland and it was wonderful! I stayed only one night as my friend and I were road-tripping through the country, but the overall experience was great. The location is a 5-10 (depending on your speed) minute walk to the main street where there's great food and friendly people. The host was extremely nice...

A group of 9 friends stayed here again for the Connemara Marathon- even better than last year.! Pots of complimentary tea on arrival served form the house kitchen plus complimentary biscuits - same again that night on our return from the village . If you want to experience home from home this is the place to go- and all done...

Gerry and Mary are considerate hosts, the rooms are large and clean and the breakfasts and dinners were adapted to our preferences... There were six of us in three rooms as we took highschool students on a tour of Connaught, and all of us agreed : We enjoyed our time at Gerry's and advise you to visit them.

Stayed there for 3 nights in April 2017, Gerry was very nice and helpful, beds very comfortable, large bathroom, delicious breakfast with home-made soda bread in a cosy room, etc... Short walking distance from the village centre with nice local pubs, I will definitely stay there again !

Recently, my best friend and I had the opportunity to stay at this property and we totally enjoyed our 3 days. Our hosts were so accommodating and really went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Mary and Jerry were the best and we wanted for nothing while staying here. The property is very nicely decorated and furnished and...

So often a night in a B&B is spent tossing and turning. Not sure what it was about Cartown Tober, but i slept like a baby! The bed was certainly comfortable, the room was fine, the location is off the main road so pretty quiet. It all worked. And Gerry, the host, could not have been kinder and more helpful....

This is a great B&B. The owners are really lovely and very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. In a great location to see Lough Corrib. The breakfast meal was superb. I would definitely recommend to all types of travellers.

The owner and family are lovely people and we really enjoyed our stay there. Rooms and facilities are good. Great location - 5 minute walk to a lovely pub in the village called Powers. Perfect spot to explore the local area.

Our two night stay in Carrown Tober House was comfortable and quiet and near a non-tourist filled village. Breakfast was a feast! Gerry, our host, was extremely helpful with tips for seeing the Connemara region. My favorite feature was an old iron stove which burned peat from the family bog! My Irish experience was complete!
