Food and staff fab. Deffo call here . Unique little spot near banks of shannon. In theses times it's nice to find a gem on Ireland and deffo have found one. Call and njoy . Stopped off from boat trip and want to stay
Friendly staff, really enjoyed a drink in front of the fire. Dinner was yum, quick service. The room is basic, but clean warm and comfortable bed. Free parking in a quiet village next to the river shannon. Would recommend.
Do not stay here if you want to sleep. Sound quality appalling. Beds rock hard. Bathroom broken and very old. Smallest room I've ever stayed in. One chair, one locker, broken lamp, miniature kettle on window... No socket nearby. Staff were lovely and the wifi worked. Would never stay again or recommend to anyone.
My brother and I stopped here for lunch on our way back from a trip to the North-West. The staff were pleasant and made us immediatly welcome. The simple soup and sandwich lunch we ordered was easily the best we experienced throughout the trip and the coffee was very good too. There is free parking, and a well laid out outdoor seating area with children's play area to the rear. This is an old style Inn with accommodation but as we did not stay, I cannot comment on the rooms.
