Stayed here in our motor home last weekend and can't believe why we never went before. Fantastic pub onsite is a real draw for good food and drinks. The walks around are fantastic and very peaceful. I'd say it would be a dream in the spring and summer. We met some friendly locals and we had great chats with them....

We decided to go to Battlebridge for New Years .having been before three times. Absolutely amazed to find that it is 25 Euro per night with electricity. The ladies and gents were closed. There was a disability toilet but the thought of using that after everyone else was a no go. There were two other toilets in the shower room...

This is a fantastic old world pub. Great warm fires and great warm welcome. Great pub food at a good price. Great location on the banks of the Shannon with a lovely well kept lawn for camping, also great facilities for the campers, camper vans, boating and huts. You won't want to leave.

Visited the campsite for a 2 night stay in a pod but were given a sheppard hut..The hut was cosy and quaint. We requested a bag of firewood for the stove and were charged 5 euro but it contained logs and turf. When stove is alight the heat is amazing in the hut..I feel the huts are too small and cramped for...

Could not recommend this place enough for Glamping. We stayed in a little shed which was beautifully decorated and really added to the experience. Really cosy and there was a kettle, hot water bottle and best of all a stove!! The camp site also has a small Irish Pub on site which is perfect. Very clean facilities also.

I saw a deal for Battlebridge on Groupon and before I bought it, I rang to check that it was ok to book for a cabin for 'up to two people' as I didn't think that my 13 month old baby would count, however the lady I spoke with was quite rude and abrupt informing me that yes the baby...

Stayed for two nights for the last weekend of the Summer. First the positives - the location is great, right by the Shannon, with the Shannon blueway within spitting distance, so be sure to bring your bikes. Can also hire bikes in nearby Leitrim village. Now, the negatives. First, there is no shop on site and no shop in the...

We stayed here, 2 adults & 2 children, 7 & 11 for 2 nights. We had travelled down from the All Ireland Coastal Championships in Donegal. We were unsure where to stay in the midlands for a couple of days. We phoned a number of times but couldnt get through despite leaving a few messages. When we arrived we tried...

Our second time to stay here and will definitely return, on arrival we were shown to our glamping unit and what a pleasant surprise the decor inside was gorgeous and exceptionally clean. The area itself is so beautiful and peaceful. bar food is excellent and staff very helpful have already recommended it to my family & friends.
