Wow, the drive up to Ballaghtobin. Absolutely gorgeous. The exterior and interior of the house lived up to all expectations and more. Our family group consisted of three generations ranging from 86yrs to 12yrs.We were greeted very warmly by Catherine, whom informed us of all the amenities available and showed us to our rooms which are a delight. Ballaghtobin is a wonderful place to stay. From the minute we arrived we knew we had made a great choice in our accommodation. Our bedroom was to the front of the house, with beautiful views of the estate. It is beautifully decorated and presented. If one is looking for a little slice of heaven in Ireland then look no further than this very beautiful gracious guest house. Every need is met from easy but informative communication before and during my visit to the best breakfasts I have had since leaving home. The room she gave us was on the front of the house and was so very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was enormous with...

Pity it was raining as we would of loved a walk around but went into Knocktopher to the advised hotel for dinner and again a lovely meal was had. Would definitely...
