Excellent host, let us store our kayaks for a couple of days while we went to Cape Clear. Beautiful accommodation with amazing views and close to Baltimore and Lough Hyne. Very clean and lots of lovely small touches. Will 100% be back.

I finally had a chance to explore the lovely area of West Cork, and the Rathmore House in Baltimore was one of the highlights of my trip. The proprietress Marguerite could not have been more gracious and welcoming to her beautiful new home in this special part of Ireland. A warm, immaculately kept house with beautiful furnishings was just what we needed after a rainy day. Our room had a stunning view of the sea inlet just below. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order! There are lots of outdoor activities including canoeing and whale watching. The nearby town of Skibbereen has everything you could want as far as food, entertainment and friendly people go. I will definitely be back!

On our second night in Ireland, we arrived at Rathmore House. We were given a warm welcome and shown to our room with wonderful views towards the bay and even a view across fields from the bathroom. A good night's sleep followed by a good breakfast with excellent choice.

We stayed for 1 night in a twin room, en suite, with a beautiful view over the bay! The room was basic but had all we needed, incl tea/coffee making facilities. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The en suite toilet was very narrow but was okay. For breakfast there was a menu with several options, but you could pick and mix from the menu to suit your own preferences. The host, Margaret, was very friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed our stay in Rathmore House once agin! Lovely people and very welcoming. We had a great twin room with an astonishing view over the bay! The beds were comfortable and the breakfast yummy. The bathroom is quite small though, but ok. Rathmore House is a bit outside of Baltimore, so you better take a drive. Thanks for having us! If we are in the area again, we'll consider to return!
