Had a great two nights stay at Channel View and would rate it as our best B&B of our 7 days in Ireland. Margaret was so friendly and helpful, and the rooms we had were immaculate, with lovely views over the countryside. Breakfast was excellent too, with plenty of choice. Would highly recommend this B&B, which I believe deserves a 5***** rating!
Clean, cosy rooms with freedom to come and go as you please. Really lovely breakfasts with plenty of options for different diets. We stayed for a wedding nearby and it worked out great for us. Check out beautiful Skibbereen on the way there / back.
We stayed here for three nights in August. We booked the suite (room 8) for a bit more space. Our host Margaret was lovely and breakfast was delicious.... we had the smoked salmon with scrambled egg and the fry-up.... both will set you up for the day. There is water in the rooms which is handy. The shower was great. The B&B itself is set in a lovely elevated location with fabulous views, well worth sitting out on the bench and enjoying it. Everywhere was spotless. Location was a few minutes walk to Caseys but a little more into the village. The roads are country road, so be very careful if walking. Baltimore is a lovely village to stay for a few nights.
We stayed one night, easy access, great accommodation, comfortable, clean and pleasant. Ten minute walk from Baltimore village, owner Margaret was informative yet not intrusive, breakfast was great, good choice and offer of extra if wanted. We would definitely stay again.
This is one of the nicest B&B’s I’ve ever stayed at. The property overlooks the beautiful church bay strand. The location is great as it’s just about 2kms from the Village. The breakfast was really tasty and there was a lovely selection to choose from. The cleanliness of the room was incredible! Cannot wait to stay here again when I come back.
