After visiting Sherkin Island we stayed her just for the one night with my wife. We were seriously thinking of extending it for another but we had to get home for work. This is a fantastically located B&B overlooking the quiet cove a few hundred metres from the mainstream of Baltimore. The room we had overlooked the front gardens and...

I just spent 10 wonderful days here while attending Fiddle Fair 2014. The owner, Wilmie, and her personable husband Dave, are wonderful hosts who helped make my stay at their cottage pleasant and relaxed. Lying in bed in the loft with the ceiling skylight allowing a view of the Cove and the sky was very tranquil. The cottage has a...

This place is just amazing. It has a real special vibe to it, and is totally unique. Our room had doors to the outside and the view was total bliss. We have visited the gorgeous Baltimore since and stayed elsewhere because unfortunately this was booked. It's worth a visit, and you are guaranteed not to be disappointed...I still dream about...

Very very pleasant experience at The Slipay with such an interesting hostess. House so different and full of character. Individual attention as hostess does not accommodate too many people thus making it a very personal experience. Location magnificent on a sunny day and morning one's own door for patio!

The cottage overlooks a cove adjacent to the main bay and allows you to enjoy the views and the gentle comings...

We had a very good time in The Slipway. The view over the bay from the rooms was beautiful, the host was charming and speaks several languages. We loved the breakfast. Walking distance to the village, our stay was perfect.

Booked in here by phone having gotten number from another b&b where we had mentioned that we had a baby. Presumed booking a double room would be ok to keep a small baby with us, she sleeps with us. We had no extra baby stuff with us or needed anything extra. We called owner to tell her that we were...

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful cottage for one week. When we arrived, we found a tea of scones & jam and a bunch of garden flowers on the table, what a lovely welcome. The cottage, which is attached to Wilmie's (the owner)B&B was just fantastic. The bedroom has the bed placed so that one can lay in...

We were in Baltimore for a wedding reception and friends were staying all over the town but I'm confident The Slipway was the most idyllic. We stayed in the attic room and enjoyed the delicious breakfasts each day and advice from the host. Highly recommended.
